I prefer myleague/myera more than any other mode in 2k. I play offline mainly because most online players don't know basketball. Mycareer has been ruined by cringe linear stories about nothing, and the online modes have made it too grindy. MyERA is the only mode far feels like it was made for fans of basketball.
MyGM sucks because it's too slow and they expect you to read a novel before you complete tasks. They could simply just have text that takes you to your task, but instead, we have to skip the dialogue. Also it holds your hand a little too much. It kind of forces the direction of your team with the broken chemistry system.
Also I rarely play 2k anymore because it is more of an online game than a basketball game. I grew up on it since 2k7 and stopped playing it because every PS4/PS5 era is the same. MyEras is the only new addition that's worthwhile.

Play now online and the different Association modes be falling off sometimes cuz they focus too much on Park lls they be acting like people don’t play the other modes

They messed MyGM up when they added in the Action Point system basically forcing you to have to level up to make substitutions during games, call timeouts, and different little shit. They need to take that out and go back to the lil story they created for like 17 and 18.
I've been telling my homies to just play Play Now Online. 2k get bad with all the extra. It be unnecessary and the mypark community just started to get cheesy in my opinion. I'm a hooper so I hate seeing bad basketball and my park if not played with the right people is terrible basketball but aye whatever floata ya boat. I barely play the game anyway so who am I😅
Idk everyone always complains about the cutscene stuff but i actually like a good story. It adds to the fun of the game. Like the 2k8 story where you started at the park . It ain’t always gotta be crazy cut scenes overdone but a lil story helps keep me engaged in a game. However 2k cutscenes do be cringe sometimes.

2k has had a horrible latency issue for the longest & it seems like not many people wanna address it fr , shit has been a game breaking problem all year long . Literally made all my 2k homies stop playing 2k this shit got so bad 😂💯
I have been making a player with the builder then creating that player in the create a player outside of my career and drafting him fir 10 years now it's way better
