Always a Sunday afternoon post-training must watch. That Triathlon Life. Never miss an episode. So much snow still in Bend USA. We had three storms in a single week here in the UK. Trees down, fences down, garden furniture and trampolines were blown all over the place, the garden looked like a war zone. But no snow, although Scotland never misses some snow. A great watch as always. Stay safe, see you next week, much love from a rather sunny and reasonably warm Sunday in the UK. Now that has to be global warming, warm sun in February here?
Eric, I love your song choice at the end! Very cool tune! Fantastic video as always! Thank you both for the non stop motivation and learning experience week in and week out! Appreciate all that you both do. :)
Which couple are you most looking forward to race (beat :D)? I'd be very interested to see how you guys cope with the speed of ITU rockets Vincent Luis and Taylor Spivey! We're in for a great show :)
So much fun to watch you training and living your best life as a couple. Hope to be able to watch to couple race in 1 week , do you know were i will be able to see some footage of the live race. Continue your grate works
You probably know this, but if Paula's ankle injury was on the left ankle, it might be that she flicks her toe inward on the pushoff on that foot. You can really see it on the shots from behind. It's really obvious on the treadmill.
The “flick” is actually better than it once was. It’s unfortunately not as simple as “just don’t do that anymore” as it’s a symptom of what’s happening in the ankle (and knee) rather than the cause
You’re videos are very inspirational, I was signed up for USAT age group nationals hoping to get a pro license … then I ran into some bad hip issues… so thank you for posting! Lastly, what is that awesome song at the end of the video?
Awesome video as always. May I ask why you use Zwift run? What’s the pros of it? And, isn’t it annoying having the screen off to the right hand side? I’d definitely flatten myself if I started looking over to the side to see the screen 😅
I like it for a little something extra to look at rather than a full attention grabber. Doing a different route each day, trying to move up levels can be entertaining, and I like that it tracks everything for training peaks, Strava, etc
I always run between 1-1.5% to simulate the same pace with wind resistance outside. A great session to do for fitness and less impact on your legs is ramp from 1.5% to 6% the first 10-15 minutes of the run, then take off .5% and add .3-.5mph every 5 minutes until you're done.
We have the profitec pro500 with PID readout. We initially were looking at Rockets, but this had slightly better performance for less money, so it was an easy choice. Check out Clive coffee, that’s where we bought ours. They’ve got a great selection and fantastic service
