Treasure Finding In South Cape May

South Cape May is a LOST town! South Cape May was a town that was founded in 1895 and was ripped into the ocean during the great Atlantic hurricane of 1944.
I figured I would go out to the location on where South Cape May was and try to find some treasure. We purchased a new treasure finding aka a metal detector, to see what we can find.

On a cold, dark day back in December of 2018, I was walking along that exact area of the beach with my ex-girlfriend, when a woman passed us going the other way. We exchanged pleasantries and kept walking about half a minute. I then for some reason turned around and saw no one walking in the other direction. That woman had completely vanished. In fact, on our way back to the car, we saw her footprints just disappear in the sand. Totally freaked us out!

You want to go at low tide along the waterline is best. The waves seen to pull the stuff down the beach

There was a lot of wood pilings and ship bones just before the last beach replenishment. All reburied.. This is now called "the cove"

You getting an early start being the old guy metal detecting on the beach? (just kidding, I'm an old guy myself). We're stuck here north of Philly, staying close to home due to the pandemic. It was nice to hear the ocean again. We've been to Cape May more times than I can count. Enjoyed your video. The pizza challenge video was good too. You ready to do one of those again?

Awesome video! I am sure this was made on the weekend. The real question is did the supervisor Pay you time in a half if it was made Saturday or Dubble if it was made Sunday? 🤣
