Those two chairs are called Curule chairs. The original Roman design was backless. Of course, Charles would like it because his mother made it for him, Anna.

What a fantastic baby's breath Christmas Tree. I love how easy it appears to be to make. Thank you for the idea. There were a pair of lamps in the near to last shot at the auction shop with bright reddish orange shades that were so beautiful but couldn't tell their height. Would be lovely for the season but also to brighten up dark furniture. I think they were in the form of fruit or flowers and very colorful.

Anna loved the tree you made for Charles out of the babies breath so beautiful. The wardrobe closet was beautiful and I loved the antique bedroom furniture that was hanging on the wall, it would look lovely in the other bedroom in the chateau. God Bless, Kathy USA

I have a smaller babies breath that is lavender and it blooms in late May into June. I am definitely going to make that beautiful little tree. Thank you Anna. I loved that chair you liked that was sitting by that desk, I would build my bedroom around that chair.

The chairs are Savonarola chairs. Very famous and, as far as I know invented in the late 14th century. I have wanted a pair for years...

Great vlog thanks I loved the special tree at the end. I have two chairs similar to the ones you showed with the metal brace at the front. One chair has arms like the ones you showed and the other I call the ‘ladies chair’ as it doesn’t have arms and the seat is flat. I imagined it was like this so that a lady could sit on it despite big full dresses.

the chairs at the beginning of the vlog are based on a Savonarola design which had several curved wood pieces with spaces between them making the seat. #savonarola chair

I really like the flower painting, would look lovely in the dining room. Edd the winter scene painting with that gorgeous frame will look great in the mansion because the grays go with your walls. In reference to those two chairs at the beginning of the video: They are styled after the ancient Roman "curule" chair. a Roman folding seat used by consuls and high officials.

The elegant writing desk was so beautiful, I would love that! So many items had me drooling, the rose painting, Giraffe chair…I. would even have liked to see one of the chandeliers up close! You both did a great job showing us, thank you. The Baby’s Breath tree was adorable! What a beautiful thing to do for your child. A beautiful Louis XV full seating set went for 120 euros at a sale I went to in St Cloud near Paris. There was a lot of Louis XV and XVI in that sale all for silly prices, give aways! I also visited a huge Troc at les Milles near Aix which again had a lot of Louis XV etc for great prices and a lot of good rugs. I found near me in another Troc a small pair of Louis XVI bergeres for 30 euros as they had been prepped for recovering, horshair intact but no wadding or fabric which for me was better. There are good deals to be had in France.

Nice items but then again any antique is to me. Auctions are an expensive way to collect anything. I find antique markets, thrift shops and other sales of that type are much easier to get deals. Anna your arrangement was stunning!
