Where you were fishing on the other side of the river used to be a big Paper Mill I made discharged into the river perhaps that's what causes the rot

I found several bronze 'money rings' metal detecting but when I put a photo of them on a Facebook group I got laughed at. I was told they are Dorset button rings not money rings. You guys got any links I can check out for sure what the rings are?

Glenn, that personal protection button / rape alarm that says Amazon might be an Amazon dash button. Before COVID in the USA (maybe UK too) Amazon customers could get a fob with a button they’d press when they wanted to re-order something. Something you’d need urgently that couldn’t wait for auto refill (like bog roll). You’d push the button and they’d rush it to you. Love your videos!!!

Have you ever thought of renting a canal boat and going up and down the river to magnet fishing obscure places that you can't be normally reached. Like dragging a magnet though the tunnels. It would make a great and exciting video.

I love the mansions along the river. But glad I don't have to pay the upkeep or taxes on the property! What i do love most are the narrow long boats! I saw an all wood pointed hull one at 28:36! what a stunner. But if I could I would love a small narrow boat just for me. And I would travel all over the canals and give my old boat plaques to you, Marie.

Great finds. That boat plaque is from the year my father was born, 1898. Really cool. Also cool finds on the rest of the plaques and the things that could go boom. Love the nav lamp.

I must say that the drone shots of the water where you were fishing show how clean that water really is, even though I wouldn't attempt drinking it, but it's so much cleaner than the muddy shite that are here in New Jersey,U.S.A. (I don't think Americans care about pollution as much as the people in the U.K.)
