Hi, again, further to my earlier comments…..I think your fence toppers, would make a fascinating research project, because of their sheer numbers, the variety of Classical design…. To discover where and how they were cast, would be a huge bonus, almost enough for a very interesting , Peaky Dipper book or booklet… contains photos and history…. I will be one of your first customers…
Hi to the best Magnet Dippers in the UK, You help instill a real interest in your fascinating hobby, you ooze enthusiasm and good, West Midlands humour, and wit. I know both of today’s bridges really well, I too have been amazed by the sheer number and quality of if finds. The fence topper’s reflect, Leamington Spa’s 18th/19th century wealth of architecture , the weapons I’m pretty sure must have come from a collector, too scared to keep his/her collection. Good to think too, that those ornate fence toppers were cast in the Black Country, furnaces, and are now returning, as your own garden ornaments..( photo please )….. Not sure about the National Service haircut, we National Service squaddies hated, it amuses me that is is so fashionable today…. Did you know it resembles the haircut of Norman soldiers ? Love listening to your strong West Midlands/ Black Country accents, so natural and real. I often wonder what our American cousins think of it …. Can’t wait for your next, bostin’ outi’n
Congrats to the lucky winners. Y’all found some really awesome items! The Ford hubcap is a sweet find. (I love my fords)❤ Marie, thank you for the editorial on everything. Please tell Mr Fox, “your wife is beautiful “ ❤ See y’all Sunday!!
Omg! What a brilliant video, superb finds by all. That German bomb was the most exciting thing found along with the 44-caliber handgun. Marie, thank you so very much for all the finds history. Well done. ❤ Thank you, everyone, for this week's video! Really enjoy Thursday nights 😁
Sorry I missed it, guys. Today was sentencing for the first of four males accused of physical and SA of children at a local church and school. Justice was served, as the prosecution got everything they asked for, and an offender is behind bars.
I'm always amazed to see what you are hauling from the depths. I enjoy your input to the treasure recovered. Today the back drop of the pealing of the church bells in the background was a highlight for me. Thank you ladies and gents for sharing. Regards from Johannesburg South Africa.😊
@@PeakyDippers thank u thank u thank u and I'm in crappy Illinois lol if I could I'd live over there so so so much history there is alot here in the USA but not like what u guys have
The bells pealing in the background was lovely. That's true Britain on display and I love it. My family is from the Newcastle region, and I can recall that sound with fondness. I live in the U.S. now, and they have no idea how wonderful true bells sound (the only bell sound here is through recordings). Most Americans consider our bell peals to be a din, but they can all sod off. I hate the U.S., but my kids were raised here, so this is where I live.
Am I watching Peaky Dippers or an episode of the Goon Show? lol I love that you have some fun with this, and I love that you clear out all of that rubbish. You're all legends.
You guys are the best!! Hey, I have been a subscriber for a while now, and I just checked it, and I was not subscribed...!! Anyway, I resubscribed!! Y'all keep it up - good stuff...
Hi Diane We was on borrowed time so all gifts went directly to the hospice. This year we will be going ahead with it again but get as much as we can for them by starting it early xx
Sorry i didnt make the prem, im wandering tho, If only the first battle of the sex's was there, i wouldnt still have a giant solar panel in my garden 😂. Bless you all.
Love your videos however I do wonder what damage is being done to the historical stone bridges you are at, I literally saw pieces of stone being chipped off when you were breaking crud off an item.
Some of the stones are hundreds of years old and have scaring on them from cars etc. The bits you seen chipped off was crud, our hammers isn't heavy enough to damage the walls. We aren't doing any damage that a graffiti artist, a car or person sitting on it does.
question?? when you fond history. do you get yo keep it or have to turn it in???. i know guns you have too.. here in the U.S.A some state tell you to leave history in yhe water some say you have ro tyurn it in. if you dont then you pay a fine..m guns no mater what yurn in.
Fantastic finds Peaky’s that model 29 was the Dirty Harry ( Clint Eastwood) 44 Magnum “The most powerful hand gun in the world” according to Dirty Harry . Probably before your time 🫣 ❤
