I really hope everything is ok with you guys because I just cannot wrap my head around you accepting this sponsorship unless you really had to. One commenter mentioned that they sell credit card info. That is what you are potentially sending your viewers to.
What I worry about with cheap plastic from Temu and other similar places is what substances they contain and if they will release those substances into the ground and into my plants. Those products come from countries with different regulations than we have and I find that a bit scary.
I ordered from temu a couple of times, but there were only a few things that we loved. Most of it was junk, that ended up being donated or thrown out. I made the decision not to order from them again. I just didn't feel good about it, the more I found out about the company. All that being said, I understand that sponsorships really help youtubers, and I'm definitely not going to judge you for ordering from them, when I did the same last year.
My wife works for a large well known bank and they get 5 or more credit card fraud cases a day. They're all from temu. The reason their prices are so cheap is because they sell your info, including your credit card info.
I have then linked to my PayPal account and a different bank from my main bank.I don't care for PayPal either, but you can do disputes for items you purchased from companies. Just don't like your main bank with them or other companies you order from.
As a small, handmade (Etsy) business I *detest* places like Temu. How can anyone compete with the prices and free shipping? Even if it really is an apples to oranges comparison. As a consumer though, I do occasionally buy from Amazon, Walmart and dollar stores that also carry similar cheap, plastic garbage from China. 🤷♀️ Still love your channel and appreciate you sharing... even if hearing the name Temu makes me want to 🤮.
I’ve purchased the water hoses that shrink and grow off of temu because i destroyed at least 2 that I got from home depot. Tbh worked just as well. And lasted even longer , especially since I stopped leaving it pressurized with water. It still won’t last as long as a traditional water hose . But it’s worth not dragging 100ft of heavy rubber around.

The sleeves are for folks that usually wear short sleeves or tanks in the warmer months. Also some of us get hot flashes, wearing long sleeves isn’t always practical.
Surprisingly, I have had some really great luck with snips from Temu. Things like garden tags, pens are all fine from Temu. Hard to screw them up. But for the most part, it's hard for me find a situation to buy anything on Temu between the gamble of quality, the slow shipping, and the fact that I try to support local as much as possible. OMG no, having read a LOT about this company and its sales practices, worker treatment, I can’t even bring myself to watch this as much as I like to support you. I watch all your videos, but here I draw the line. Please don’t support terrible companies like this
I totally agree with what you said. Temu has ties to Shein which has record of brutal treatment, forced labor, and so much more. Both are working at taking over and their only goal is to entice the desires of Amercans to make them stronger.
And you are watching videos on RU-vid, and purchasing items from other companies that are conglomerates and have monopolies, and buy up all the smaller companies ...do you know who owns the majority of seed produced in the world? That goes for flower seed as well. Fertilizers, even organic products? It isn't small business. Picking and choosing is who to support is fine but your little shame game towards other people can take a walk. You should brush up on your logical fallacies.
yep, they are known for this. People have no idea what they are "accepting" when agreeing to download Apps. You are giving them full access to your mobile device and content.
I actually have those little aqua pots but in black. You're right, the "saucers" are pretty much useless. I've had the pots going on my 3rd season. They seem to be pretty good. I've gotten a few other things that didn't work out so well. You have to really read the descriptions carefully. It's good to see you! The $100 coupon bundle is a come on and only useable for specific products. One thing I bought I needed to return and the return process was very simple. Edited to add that I have had absolutely no problems with malware or stolen data, but I have heard of it. I've had fraud with Amazon though.
I get my shade cloth from Shelter logic but shopping was the same price as the shade cloth. I get made in Canada sun hars from the Puffin room. They are expensive but they wash in lingerie bag. I bought a clearance hat twice. I love the chin strap because have wind every day

I have purchased several items from this company. Like going to the dollar store I’m very selective. I have a cannon mini printer and use this site to order the photo paper which can be pricey at other store. But this company has the photo paper on sale often so I wait for the discount. .

Ah!! I hope you have good malware security. Temu is known to steal data and personal information along with spyware. I understand the thrill of cheap finds, but if something seems "too good to be true", theres usually something hidden underneath. Love your channel, but please stay away from temu.
I got several pairs of gloves with those claw things along with some raised beds I ordered, the only thing they're good for is pretending to be Catwoman. But they were just hot glued on, so at least I could still rip them off and use the gloves.
I've been waiting all spring for flower content and really bummed to see you used this company. Most wasteful for a farm where small farms goals should be low waste. Hope this is a one time form of content.
I have bought a lot of gardening items from Temu. More wins than unusable items. The aprons are great. The style of gardening hat I buy is great (similar to the one you ordered, but without the backflap and a little bit shorter brim and stiffer) Just always look closely at the measurements. I do buy the gloves, (both gardening and Nitril) but get a size up. I got little envelopes for seeds and they are so cute and labels for mason jars so there’s a lot of good items on there. Overall, I really like Temu and there prices and I’ve been ordering from them for about a year. Just be aware that it takes two weeks to get your order, but hey, it’s free shipping.

The bottom on those pots would make it good for watering mats I think the thumb knife would be great for harvesting peas and beans. 16:28 ohhh! can be used like the thumb knife but easier to carry in a pocket and quickly put on and take off! I have seen friends who have, for a budget person its ok, but I feel most of their products are cash grab junk. I use root pouch brand grow bags. I love them. But they are high quantity not at all like the one you showed. Lessons here, don't pay for subpar quality.
Amazon sells the exact same things (with the identical pictures) as Temu, so if you’re using Amazon you’re likely using Temu without realizing it. The sleeves by the way, I didn’t get them either until I went to Japan in the summer. It’s so hot and humid, you’d wear short sleeves. Then when you want to avoid the sun you don’t want to wear long sleeves because it’s so darn hot! Putting on the sleeves finally made sense!
About the sleeves: I like that idea. I am an older woman who drives a lot and also love being in my garden. My fire arms are getting a lot of sun spots. I would definitely use those while driving and gardening while wearing a lightweight top in the heat.
Any of you shop at Dollar Tree or Dollar stores? Walmart or Amazon? It is the EXACT same stuff so don't judge her. In Fact, I got the same flower pots off of Amazon, they probably got it from same company TEMU did.

This is also disappointing because a few years ago, you also did a sponsored post for a scam, "Established Titles". A lot of content creators fell for it, so it was understandable. I would have expected you guys to be more diligent in vetting future partnerships and this seems to prove you do not.
i like the sleeves because i come in and out all day while gardening in 100 degree heat and dont want to keep taking a whole long sleeve shirt off and they keep my skin from bites and plants scratching. but 6$ is too much. For that they should have sent you a 3 pair set
this is so very disappointing. All cheap garbage that will fall apart/break in no time and end up in landfills. Temu parent company also has a history of workers violations. Just an overall garbage company. You advocate sustainability to some extent, so this sponsorship is hypocrisy.
I think your opinion is valid, however, I also think it is a little harsh. There are some of us who cannot afford sustainability even though we would like to. She is not hypocritical because she gave an honest review and found some things she will use. I can’t fault her from needing any and all sponsorships. These are tough times.

@@marypritchett115 Sustainability doesn't have to be a grand gesture. Simply buying local is more sustainable than buying from this company. Are they cheap, yes but that cheap product will break very quickly and the cycle repeats. you end up spending more money in the end.

I am sorry but temu is a horrible company. I understand that you need sponsors becose this is your job, but they are so many company’s out there that would be a million times better then them.
I'm shocked that you guys would support this company. It's all cheap plastics, and plastic is made of petroleum. It not only looks cheap, it sounds cheap, and some of it looks unsafe. Make sure to keep those red cutters away from the pets and kids. High-grade plastics do serve a purpose and last long. But this type of plastic is very disposable.
If you want to keep shopping at your local suppliers I highly recommend you stay away from any online shopping especially Temu and Am0z0n. Support your local businesses and community. Book shops especially are doing it tough.
