I am from the era when American corporations earned only razor thin 3%-5% profit margins and America became a super power. China is doing the same now. American corporations are now earning 50% to 80% profit margins now. Maybe the answer is cutting down on profit margins, decreasing prices and increasing sales volume instead. Slow and steady might be the answer.

I’m sick of another Fox report relative to EVs which fails to mention the number one reason why they are not and never reduce climate risk. Even if you believe in climate risk. They only contribute to 2% of global carbon and they contribute far more pollution from tire wear than ICE. Every politician conservative or liberal refuse to acknowledge that micro nuclear reactors should be accelerated, even though cost and safety is superior to all forms of energy. But if you don’t produce volume of anything, it ain’t going to be less costly. The infrastructure bill should have helped critical tech which needs help after political damage caused by Dems. That’s not solar panels and windmills, or EVs. Let the market determine whether they are viable. But nuclear has been controlled by the Feds to the point that it can’t compete and it needs a more even playing field.
