Oh, my! Snitch is so beautiful!!

I live in Brisbane, Australia and have recently acquired a 3 1/2 year old retired greyhound. The adoption agency provided plenty of information but I am finding your videos to be highly informative, thank you for making your knowledge and experience widely available.

Snitch is a beauty. Combined with your training, he will make a greyt housemate.

I really like treat training. My galga learned a lot of tricks, from sitting up to dropping dead (and make some final convulsions). She can now even differentiate 2 toys and bring me the one I ask. I think it really boost her self confidence and she loves to play these games..

Thanks for the video! Now I understand why our newly adopted grey won't respond when I try to train with treats. I'll try what you did to teach him treats are a reward first.

This is great info! We may have a greyhound puppy in next 2 weeks, so I was not quite sure what to do if she would have leg sensitivity. This helped a lot, as she is 7 weeks currently.

Brian and Heather, thanks so much for your videos and your efforts to “train the trainer”. Before I got my Grey I watched everyone of them. Question: I noticed in your video about Snitch that the dog had areas on its rump/hind quarters that appeared to be chewed up. My Grey has the same problem. Could you do a video that addresses this problem as well as basic skin care for greyhounds? Much appreciated, and thanks for all you do for us owners. Jeff

Ooh can't wait for the next episode! We have had Evie (Barrow Blade) since January and every time one of us goes out she cries. We need to start dealing with her separation anxiety as at the moment one of us has to be at home with her. 💗

Any tips on how to get your greyhound to grow some fur? My boy's tummy and bum is bare.

Snitch is fawn(or golden in certain breeds), which makes him the "golden snitch" ;)

We have a grey and I'm really looking forward to the next episode. We've had ours 2 years but I have definitely noticed over the past year his attachment and separation anxiety has grown with us being around all the time!

This mode of training worked with our mindy, only it was her ears. I think at first she associated touching her ears with the tattoos. That shreek! Now she loves a good head pet and ear check.
