The safest surgical procedure is PAE (Prostrate Artery Embolization). It is not done by a urologist and it's very likely they will not tell you about it. Contact a hospital with an "Interventional Radiologist" who has experience with this procedure. In short, they insert a catheter in you wrist and snake it down to your prostrate where they insert tiny plastic beads to block (partially) blood flow to the prostrate which then shrinks over 1-2 months down to a closer to normal size. Very low risk procedure for urinary incontinence or erectile dysfunction - essentially close to zero risk when done competently. I had it done 4 weeks ago, In and out in one day. No catheter before/during/after. Needed to pee for two days straight but then started improving. 4 weeks in and I am far better off than before. Still hoping for some additional improvement over the next month.

Pumpkin seed oil works great for BPH, I am 71 and have been taking pumpkin seed oil for years, I have the prostate of a 20 year old. You need to take it daily for the rest of your life unless you think taking a knife to your prostate is a good idea.
@@tommac21 Agreed, it does nothing. Neither does saw palmetto, pumpkin seeds, stinging nettle, etc - they do nothing but make you think things are improving when they are not.
20 days ago my doctor make me a Rezūm theatment, now I am starting felling much better. Rezūm is much better than laser but not all the patients can do it.

I was 23 diagnosed with an enlarged/inflammation of the prostate. Just go to a vitamin shop and get some natural prostate supplements with a complex of saw palmetto, pumpkin seed oil, and pygneum. I was able to get my girl pregnant. It does not affect fertility but it does minimize sperm count and semen loads compared to where it could be if you’re not caring for it.
