Tip #4: Also, Get it checked out with your Doctor first. Dark Circles can also be caused by certain vitamin deficiencies and/or an underlined medical conditions which can develop as a symptom in the body, such as an Iron Deficiency (Anemia) or frequent insomnia, etc. If not treated, they can lead to additional medical issues. You know what helps that no one tells you? Sleep on you back and buy a 10" elevated pillow. It keeps fluids from pooling. I learned that from a woman on youtube who mentioned she did it to reduce wrinkles and low and behold to her shock her eye bags of 10 yrs left. It took about 8 months but it worked and she didn't even buy the pillow for that reason.

You are very informative - thank you. About 6 weeks ago, I began paying attention to keeping this area hydrated - nothing extra, nor fancy, just started bringing my day cream and night cream and serum up into this area - marked improvement in appearance of dark circles. One of your videos caused me to do this, and I took your hint about hydration - it works so well, even though you never mentioned this area specifically. I trust your advice, and currently am looking to add a good toner to my skincare, will let you know how that goes. I'm coming to see you one day in 2020 for a facial and a chat. Your skin is looking healthy and glowing. Good video.

This video proves what I believed all along. I never found an eye cream that did much so I stopped using them. As you said, staying hydrated, getting sleep and using my moisturizer under my eyes are the best formula for healthy under eyes. Also, I was blessed with not having sunken, puffy or dark circles. I only get darkness with lack of sleep or illness.

Love these videos you should make a series on esthetician facials and services and the benefits on the skin. I’m getting a micro-needling series and my skin I really improving. I feel more people should know about it then the regular chemical peels. Half the time you don’t even need to put your face through that.

I didn't know there was such a procedure as a filler for under eyes! I'm happy to be reassured that most eye creams are basically just money grabs. I will keep an eye out for products with caffeine that you mentioned / also will keep using my standard moisturizer there :)

I was told by a professional MD that fillers under the eyes are not FDA approved and are not 100% safe at all for your under eyes. You could literally lose your eyesight

Yes, I asked her on Twitter and she said exfoliate the area and hydrate it, and it did help, they’re gone now, but they keeps coming back in different place (all in under eye area).

Ethereally Janelle I used (exfoliating daily wash by Clean & Clear) and it didn’t have a negative impact on the area, but it’s better to use chemical exfoliations without beads(which mine has).

Reyof ; I have the ordinary 30% aha and 2% bha chemical exfoliant. It says not to put under the eyes. Maybe I need to find something less intense.

here's some transparency: I was up searching for treatments for my dark circles. I've noticed that I've become more self-conscious about my looks because I have a partner now who is always telling me that I'm so pretty and I'm like (this dude is crazy, has he seen me??) When you said "Look around-- does your auntie have them?" It got me in the feelings. My mother has them. I just found an old picture of my grandma, guess what? She has them. & I love those women and think they're beautiful

My under eyes are sunken in with dark circles. I've found that green tea bags help tighten the skin and a thin layer of unflavored gelatin helps lighten them

Frank Murphy yes that’s the word! It is more of a serum! It’s simple and does the job I like to mix it with my biopetine eye cream that’s very light weight. Makes it’s not so sticky...

Chicka Dee its drying for me. But I’m still using it to see if it helps with any pigmentation. Still cheap and works!
