@@PSKaqua you’re welcome ! & likewise I stumbled upon this website that has a ton of helpful information and I think it’s worth sharing with you ! aquariumscience.org/ No although I do have metroplex, I struggled with camallanus worms and had to take down my 75 gallon planted tank + put down some fish 😪 slowly making a comeback, dealing with a bacterial infection atm. Got kanaplex and plan to treat them as a food mix with it by using repashy gel + adding their favorite flakes into the mix for added vitamins and probiotics.
It is a drag when diseases start to appear. it looks like a snowball ... Sometimes it is better to reset the aquarium and start again better and more wisely to avoid mistakes that are made at the beginning that are prolonged and never seem to end again.

So you did the treatment with Sera Flagellol for five days without any water change. On the sixth day you did a 80% water change. Was the medecation effective..did the fisg recover from Hex. Mainly this disease occurs because of Siprogeneus parasites. API general cure or Metronidazole Flagyll are used but Sera's products are overall very high standard.

Para mim resulta… 😉 Percebo a tua dúvida e para quem esteja a ver os videos cronologicamente, aparenta que depois da administração de Flubendazol (wormer plus), não tenha resultado porque fiz um tratamento para parasitas flagelados em seguida. O Flubendazol (que é um princípio ativo que não causa resistências) é um bom tratamento para uma desparasitação regular, mas não acho que seja potente o suficiente para eliminar uma doença/parasita. Neste canal, eu mostro o que faço no meu dia a dia no meu aquário, o que corre bem e o que corre mal… Mas como sabes, cada aquário é um aquário, e o que está bem hoje pode não estar amanhã. Infelizmente (monetariamente) não sou patrocinado por ninguém, por isso, não digo bem nem digo mal gratuitamente sobre nenhum produto. Se resulta para mim, eu digo, se não resulta, digo na mesma. 👍🏻😉

Hi bro... it's a great job and super helpful one of my discus looks skinny and it's not getting better. the fish-eating very well but her body shape still looks skinny here is my questions: 1- do you think should I treat the whole tank (2-meter tank ) or isolate the fish? 2- do you think this med will help as am assuming it's an internal parasite issue? 3- did you turn off your canister filter during the treatment or just remove the active carbon and the UV light? many thanks in advance
Hello my friend!!! Happy new year to you and yours... 😀 Regarding the fish, it could be internal parasites. If they are flagellates this medicine might help. 1-It would always be better to do the treatment separately not least because if he eats, you could do the treatment and then try to fatten him up. Since it is separated, you have a better idea if he eats. To help, you could feed him with metronidazole which would increase the chances of eliminating more internal parasites. 2-treating the whole tank should only be done if you notice that someone else is affected. With treatments, you should always remove the activated carbon and turn off the UV lamps, because they will eliminate the effect of the medication.
Beautiful video, did he recovered after completely after the treatment? I had a discus tank 2 meter with around 21 discus all was great until this disease. It never stopped after lot of treatment, all died except cardinal tetras.
Hello Osman!!! Did the 21 die?!?!? 🙁😕☹️ My discus got better for about a month with the flagellol treatment, but it started to have the same symptoms again. So I gave him a treatment in a hospital tank with metronidazole (video that is here on the channel) and tomorrow the video of the second part of the treatment will be released. He's better, a little thin, but he's recovering.

Hello, great video man. I have one question also, since I did this treatment in my "GrowOut" tank of discus, mainly for parasite issues and long poops :), should I keep feeding them normally, or feed them minimally to avoid any major pollution? How did you feed them for 5 days?
just to add, I have a 60l tank with 2 air filters (sponge and bio media) and I change 10-20% of the water every day by cleaning the bottom. So since I cannot proceed with changes during these 3-7 days I assume feeding should be minimal, but just wanted to check your opinion also...
Hello my friend!!! Yes, that's exactly what you said. You can still feed, however, give little food so as not to spoil the water too much. However, if the fish are not eating, I would only feed them when the treatment is over, because if they don't eat, the food will just foul the water.

@@PSKaqua yeah it’s because they’re in a closed ecosystem so I can only imagine even as myself being a discus keeper trying to mimic the wild because apparently in the wild parasites and disease is at a all time low because of the constant flow of the river water being clean.
This product is completely down, the parasites are doing great. They are reproducing and increasing numbers of them instead of dying. This product only causes stress in the treated fish. She loses her appetite very much compared to treatment with metronidazole. Where stress and loss of appetite are practically not noticeable.
