Dave!!! This is beautiful! I'm so glad you went "out on a limb" and "branched out" with this tree design!! I was "rooting" for you the whole time!!! Great job as always!!
LMAO....this was HILARIOUS!!! OMG, you totally got me this morning with that comment and put a HUGE smile on my face. Great way to start the day. THANKYOU!!!! 😀😀😀
The "David Style" is the best style.. 😜 this turned out absolutely amazing!! I've had one of those bicycle forms for awhile now.. and now I know what I'm doing with it . Thanks for fantastic idea... 👍👍😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗🤗💗💗💗
Awwww, thank you Tamala. Always saying the nicest things. 😀😀😀😀😀 I've had my eye on the bicycle wreaths, but only found them here in Canada recently....so I grabbed a couple of them. HAHA. Happy wreath making !!!!!
Im addicted to these videos. I need to go to DA meetings now. Hahaha and. DT meetings. Haha 🤣 why did RU-vid do this to me? Whyyyyy??? Haha nah? These are great videos. Thanks Dave. I am having fun.
This might be my favorite of all time! Weirdly one of my sisters asked me before Christmas if I had any wire to do a Tree of Life. We're all crafty and just give each other what the other asks for if we have it. Thanks for always making me smile.
Hi Lisa, this comment totally made me smile 😀😀😀 Thank you so much. I'm so glad you liked this wreath...and it's up there as one of my faves as well. 😀😀😀 Thanks so much and happy crafting!!! 😀😀😀
Dave as always BEAUTIFUL. What a smile it makes my heart feel. I made a fall tree of like with maple leaves..and a plunger it turned out awesome. TFS. Stay warm.
Hi Dave! This is one of the most unique wreaths I have ever seen!! Great tutorial, and a great wreath for gifting, wedding decor. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Whoa this is so cool! I have always loved crafting, but am relatively new to the wreath making world. You are such a great teacher I am really learning so much from subscribing to your channel! Thank you ☺️
Great idea of the two wreath frames put together, I love it even for another project like a bicycle spring wreath, gorgeous wreath, thank you for sharing🥰
I LOVE it! I'm going to have to look for that kind of moss. I have 2 other kinds but I don't think they'd turn out as well. So I'll be hunting for that!! Thanks for sharing Dave! I've been wanting to make a tree, who'd have thought it would be so easy! 😊❤️
Hi Chandra, thanks so much. Yes, the reindeer moss is such a great moss to work with, it's still messy, but not as messy as the other ones. It is my favourtie moss to work with. I hope you can find it and happy wreath making. 😊 😊 😊
Okay, I made this wreath and I can honestly say it turned out AWESOME! I can’t believe how easy it was by following your directions. I love how you separated everything into doable steps with helpful tips along the way. Thanks, Dave!!!
Hi there, I'm so glad you gave this wreath a try. And I'm even happier to hear you love how it turned out. YAY YOU!!! Thanks so much and happy wreath making. 😊
I love the way you made this tree of life! I made one and it was more complicated than it needed to be and it discouraged me from making more of them! I plan to make your version of this using leaves and flowers instead of moss 😊
Hi Mary, I'm sorry to hear you got discouraged, but I'm happy to hear that you are going to give it another go...and with leaves and flowers, that is a brilliant idea. Happy wreath making. 😊 😊 😊
Well, how fun and adorably different is this wreath? I've never seen one of these before, but it looks like it would be so fun to make! Great job Dave! ❤
Oh my goodness I absolutely adore this wreath !!! I can not tell you the sound I made after seeing that you had made a tree of life wreath I knew it would be great and it's just soooooo adorable I love it !!! You rock Dave!!! I said it again 🤗💜💙💚💛
I have been wanting to do one of these for over a year but they all just seemed a little too much for my hands and well, thought process to handle. This one is just great. I actually have almost everything on hand, just need to get the moss. It’s so simple, isn’t using mile of rope or bags of rocks. Can always count on you Dave. Also, it’s not a mesh wreath. 😊 I cannot work with a full mesh wreath, have RA so twisting and turning the mesh was just so painful. Also, because of the RA (and HA age) my skin is so thin that the mesh would actually cut and poke me to the point of bleeding. So it’s nice to find something new to use my wreath forms. ❤
Hi Leila, I am so sorry to hear about your RA. I hope it doesn't bother you too much on a day to day basis. I know the deco mesh is very hard to work with when you have RA, so I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you found a wreath that you can make with your hands not hurting afterwards. I hope you have fun wreath making and I wish you an abundance of health and happiness. Take care. 😊
It's beautiful Dave❣ I haven't seen it done like that. I love it❤ Been wanting to make one but nervous, seeing i just started crafting about 4 mos. ago. You done an amazing job❤
Wow Dave this is my first time ever seeing a “ Tree of Life “ tree😅 shows how I ‘m not up on things but, I absolutely love how yours turned out and will definitely be doing this❤️THANK YOU I’ve really enjoyed ALL the videos these past 7 + days and appreciate the time you’ve put into it ❤
Happy Happy Friday watching your videos back to back so I don’t miss anything what a really beautiful way to bring the wreaths together I have so many of both now I have something beautiful to make thank you really beautiful 🙏❤️💚🥰💜😍🧡
Hi Liz, that is great that your are going to be using the bicycle wreath frame as well. I hope you enjoy your wreath making and have tons of fun 😀😀😀 Thank you!!!!
Hey Dave, this is the most intricate wreath to date. Fabulous!! I ❤it! I like the green moss, so full and dimensional. Ya done gooder, Dave👍👍 Have a great weekend!😊😊😊
I’ve never heard of this so thanks for putting it out there. Once again, great job! BTW, you are the neatest crafter I’ve ever seen considering the materials you always work with. Who invented this concept? I like that it gives another rendition of what to do with wire frames?
HI Gizmo, thank you so much. I am not sure who invented the tree of life wreath, as there are so many out there it's hard to pinpoint who it was. If I ever find out, I will let the world know about their genius idea. I try to be neat and organized so my videos aren't congested with scraps and other stuff. LOL. Thanks again Gizmo. 😀
Hi there, for the moss, I make sure it's tightly packed down when I'm gluing it to the frame. Then I will add some hairspray to keep it all in place. Now, there are still bits that do fall off from time to time if the wreath is disturbed, but for the most part, in my experience, the hairspray does the trick. Hope that helps.
Hi Brooklyn, great question, thank you. I originally wanted to use just the bicycle frame, but found it was too flimsy to add rocks to the wire frame, so I decided to add the second wreath frame for more gluing surface and more stability. Plus, it was a bit more aesthetically pleasing when I combined the two....in my opinion. lol. Thanks so much. 😀
Hi Dave, I LOVE MY TREE OF LIFE but I'm Having Problems with the Reindeer moss staying on the wreath? Any word of advice to keep it on the wreath? Thank you
Hi Regina, that's great that you love your tree of life wreath. I have used hairspray in the past to keep the moss in place. It's a little "crunchy", but it does work for me. I also go in with some more hot glue to adhere the pieces of the moss that are not secured enough. Those two really help keep my moss in check. Thanks so much and I hope that helps.
