TREE SWINGS! A Family DIY Project

Doing well my friend. Thanks for asking. The weather has been so incredible this month, I've kinda' accelerated many of my projects. Been getting the garden ready to receive potatoes which I think I'm going to put them in the ground in less than two weeks. 50 pounds of reds... Lordy, what will I do with all those potatoes if they do well? I've got my cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower seeds sprouting and I plan to get them in along with the potatoes. And I've got a bunch of heritage tomato seeds sprouting too. The baby chicks came in at the Co-Op yesterday. I bought 12 Rhode Island Reds and 12 Black Sexed Linked. They're in a brooder box down in the den by the wood stove so I'm pressed for time to get the hen house expanded. And then it rained, rained, rained all day today and shut me down... Lol. The Lord knows best though.

good thinking about including adjustable for tree growth, etc. I imagine you will have to install a second swing at some point! my granddaughter is 3 and feeling the need to install one. Can't believe I didn't do this for my daughter when she was growing up. (headslap)

Nice video! You could use one of the 150+ clamps in the shop to hold that seat down while using the router... so safety Sally says. this is my first ever comment. also, my bottom is 23 inches wide.

fun project we constructed a tire swing similar to the one in this link. You cut out about a two-thirds of the tread part, leaving the ring near where the rim would mount, and then turn the whole thing inside out..... goo.gl/images/7QKkCd
