What a great riff rollercoaster and great soloing carried by a right on rhythm track that doesn't get too repetitive, really my new favorite pike of this classic Buckethead style.
The great Buckethead is far too deep for the world we live in. I had the chance of a lifetime to discover the brilliant Buckethead who has no limit in the power of expression and transmission of messages to us. Thank you every time with a lot of respect and consideration for the extraordinary strength and talent that Big Buckethead possesses.
Awesome Pike! BH is in a league of his own . it has that great rocking sound we all love and the last 8 minutes or so is just EPIC like only Bucket can shred it! Outstanding!!! God bless Brian Patrick Carrol...
Thankyou Buckehead ! 🪣 and to you as well NatterNet 🪄 Wow ! 😮 That was so …🤔 Incredible ! Yes I will go with that! 😄 there was a bit of everything in that one 👍🏻 metal , funk , old school rock , slower sections and some moments that were just pure Buckethead and unlike anything else … I liked that number a lot ! There was even a few spots in there that sounds similar to John Lord ( R.I.P. 🪦) the keyboard player from Deep Purple! Who was also an amazing musician 😊 I’m sure he would approve👍🏻🤟🏻🪣🎸👑 Buckethead’s endless creativity just makes me smile 😊 as he takes my mind into places it’s never been before. No one else out there can do what he does.
No one can do what Buckethead does. All the greats can play like this for a minute or so, but 15 or 30 minutes straight. No f'n way. It's not just the physical playing, but hearing it this fast and being able to keep playing so musical and in tone. No one can hear these solos like this in their head and keep playing without stopping....except buckethead.
I was gradually losing interest in the pike series having followed since 2014 but some of the latest releases have been incredible, not least this one. Love this pike.
Yeah, I found, roughly the 6 months from late 2022 to around April 2023 to be tough going, bar the odd exception. But there has been a real uptick in quality recently.
I imagine Buckethead hibernates in a mausoleam in Colma, CA for a couple years and is given inspiration from the maggot dreams and rises like a flock of slunks to crack the sky
It's an absolute masterpiece. The more I listen to it, the more astonishing it gets. The way it builds, the way the tempo of the chords increases, the repeated melodies, the riffs around 17-20 minutes, the guitar entry for the solo, the palm muting about 90 seconds from the end. It might sound sacrilegious, but I'd put it above Pike 65, it is THAT good.
@VenLon I feel philosophical I can feel bucketheads emotions the track name is reminiscent to me as a way of isolating yourself and wanting things to go back in time but seeing it through a tree house of innocence a tree house of pure emotion and love for all the things and people that has passed away or moved on. I love buckethead
My dream home is a living tree house. When I finally accomplish this dream I will invite Bucket over for tea. Me & Big B having Tea in a Tree by the Sea! 🧝🏼♀️🪣🎸🫖🍵🍵🌲🌊 Wouldn't that be Neat?! Tree shaping is a pretty rad art. Makes me wonder why anyone would ever want to cut a tree down when it can be shaped. I just love how much Bucket writes about the trees. 💚🌲💚 He is The Treeman! 🍃💚🌲🌳🌲💚🍃 🌲🌳[//]:^)🌳🌲
