My friends and I stayed there on our trip last December. It was great for the 4 of us. We loved it and we will return there. Thanks Tom. I saw you at Epcot on my solo trip in March but You had a few people around you so I didn’t want to bother you. Take care care!

Tom, The reason the Villas were built in the first place. Disney was prepareing it's plans for it's year round Independance Lake Project. To prove to the U.S. Forest Service that Disney could build Accomodation with the minimum impact on the environment and surrounding areas.Disney hoped to begin construction by summer of 1978 and to open the ski field area in the winter of 1980. There were Treehouse, Vacation and Fairway Villas. Giving different accomodations for small or large families. During the day golf carts would tow small trailers around. they would stop often, ring a bell so you could shop for food etc. 1978, 4 nights accomodation, 5 day's unlimited use of the Magic Kingdom. Day ticket to River Country Unlimited use of Disney Transport. Dinner at Steermans Quarters onboard the Empress Lilly. Lunch at The Top of the World or Papeete Bay Verandah. Coupons for horse back trail ride, 2 hours Tennis, one hour pedal boat. Cost, per person ( including all tax) Adult $275, double, Junior $71 Child $53. You could make your reservation 90 days in advance. A deposit of $ 90 required upon confirmation. The Villas have stood the test of time. Disney didn't cut any corners when building these. Cheers, Chris Perry.

I was so excited to see this room tour! I've wanted to stay at the Treehouses since I saw them peeking out of the treeline when I was going past the area. Also if I can convince my family to do a big family vacation, this might cover the number of people going. My only complaint is the saddest-looking grill in front.

We love Disney and have just started learning about all the options for staying as we finally are in a place to make trips more often! Your channel has helped so much, and I love these room tours (I’m a planner)!! 😍

Very cool! I love the real wood and stone decor pieces, looks like a great quality DVC. I wish there was one or two Chip ‘n Dale art pieces though.

Pretty cool too that the Treehouse Villas are the only nudist resort on WDW property.

I was there in December and have to agree with JanS Disney1974... We loved it! On a side note Tom, I was in the kids' room and the crib was in the closet, so I am guessing they are always there. We also never encountered your rat 🐀

Now I am questioning my choice to stay in a newly renovated 2-bedroom @ Saratoga Springs. Next trip we are staying in a Treehouse, and we will know what we are getting ourselves into. Christmas store decorations from the Northeast and all😂🤣😂🤣

Tom, about USB outlets, I would not be bothered to see a lack of them. USB is not just for power; it is for data transfer. When you plug your phone into a USB “outlet” at Disney, the airport, or anyplace else that’s not your home, you are (potentially) giving anyone who might’ve modified the outlet in advance of your use, physical access to your phone. I don’t need to tell you that most exploits rely on exactly that kind of physical access, made possible by the exact kind of naive “ooh, a USB outlet” naïveté that you are ignorantly encouraging. To everyone reading this… NEVER plug your phone directly into a publicly available USB outlet. Ever. Instead, bring along the actual charger / plug and put that into a normal outlet, which can’t carry data (just power).

Love the theming and all the touches, but they seriously need to get rid of carpet in all rooms.
