This is great to watch since these are things I would've been too afraid to experiment on my own with. I also like this better than playing things safe with masking fluid.
I have an SAA Whopper paint brush which I was given as a gift in the late 1990’s and it was the biggest brush I had ever seen at that time and I loved it. I used to get some marvellous comments but what amazed me and still does, are the results I can achieve. The head is huge and thick but because it has a fine point, I use that beautiful brush and nothing else for a full painting.
Hello there, Ms Davis-Dew - may I ask you what brushes you're using, the ones with the red tipped handles. Tried desperately to find them on the web - failed !
This artist was filmed by the SAA for the SAA's RU-vid channel. It would have to be a member of staff who works for the SAA who gets back to everyone. Unfortunately the artist is not able to reply as they have no direct access to the administration of the RU-vid channel. SAA stands for Society of All Artists.
