I noticed your rear brake is rubbing a lot. You should align your caliper to keep your brake pads lasting long. No efficiency loss because it's an e-bike

At which part in the video did you notice that? My neighbor was running a grinder in his garage, maybe that’s what you were hearing? My brakes do not rub, I’m a stickler for that kind of stuff 😎that would drive me crazy. Thanks

Glad the fix was easy! I think they are made from plastic so they break before the derailleur does, like a sacrificial part. But I may be wrong. I have seen other posts about the hangar not being properly torqued upon delivery of the bike. I think the technicians feel the axle squeezes it all together but the hanger needs to be torqued first, don't torque it after installing the axle as it will make the axle too tight.

It’s not the Plastic one, it’s aluminum. Better quality if you have them side by side, the other melted into my cassette. It’s worth it to me. If you look at the original hanger, you can see it’s missing a ton of material where the hub guide was. I’m sure if my cassette was properly torqued down this would have never happened. Live and Learn 🤙🏻
