Tremco Roofing - SFS Intec Isoweld Induction Welding Solution 

Thought I had an idea for a new invention, but of course it has already been done. Awesome!

I've installed hundreds of Tremco roof systems from Burmastic, Thermastic, Tremco edge metal " can't remember name " and all Tremco roofs have been exceptional quality well above other manufacturers, however didn't we use this " bond field membrane to plate " method in the 1980s where we installed 12 inch plastic plates every 4 ft in staggered rows ,then spot glued the field membrane to the plate system ? We used another plate fastening system where the field plates had a know on top where after gluing the membrane to the plate we snapped a locking cap over top the field sheet attached to the plate ,both plate adhered systems failed badly . I cannot claim I have any direct knowledge of this method of bonding field sheets to plates ,nor can I attest to how well " This method " works ,if it's a Tremco approved method then I have faith it works well to secure the field membrane but I have hesitations due to previous technology that's failed for EPDM manufacturers in the early days of single ply ,feel free to educate me if you will ,I would LOVE to install this roof system to try out this method of securing field sheets .
