Listening to you, Dr, explaining simple steps to ease the e. Tremors is itself relaxing, and indeed useful to me. This anxiety sets in overtime, added to the tremors that I have noticed in my dad, or grandfather’s hand movements. Please give some tips and suggestions, ways on exercising stability when the hand gets shaky and cramped up when attempting to write, fill a form and sign like when completing an application in a public situation. Appreciate. 🙏

Hello mam, I hàd been having tremors in my right hand for the past 30 years. Though the medicines, mostly propranol and alprozolam, gave little relief the problem exist still. I am 65 and retired. Could you please advise.
Hello These medicines are related to high BP and anxiety. If these are your primary reasons, then uou can try mindfulness exercises. I will leave a link below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HL77-ggcQlI.htmlsi=Y-UMictcjDUQl4K4
6:05 Have had left hand tremors for about 3 years. I get depressed because I can't play my guitar anymore. My VA doctor told me to try playing for 5 minutes at a time. I tried your breathing technique and it worked to calm the tremors. Was diagnosed with extreme anxiety. I love this breathing technique. Thank you.
Conventional wisdom will not recommend hypnosis for tremors for various reasons but experimenting with hypnosis won't hurt and not only will it not hurt, it will give you a sense of self-confidence in combating this disorder.
Have you heard of MRI Guided Ultrasound treatments where they shave your head and put you in a big type of machine which looks something like a decompression chamber, the machine they put divers in after they come up too fast and develop "the bends."
For my hand tremors exercises are not giving any good results. My Neurologist has advised me to take Ciplar LA 40 tablets Now he is planning to give Ciplar LA 80, then 160, 400 Pl advice Madam
You need to practice being calm. If you are a literate (one capable of reading and writing), you should be able to put yourself under hypnosis and give yourself suggestions that will resolve your tremor issues. You should know that your MIND is capable of doing things you thought were impossible.
I have shaky hands it comes and goes away, I smoke, also alcoholic, I have depression, anxiety, also super stressed, trust issues also over thinking, to add I don't sleep very well, my diet is a crap too. Taking B12 deficiency, I'm trying to quit smoking and alcohol, started taking B12 vitamin supplement, will this shaking of the hands go away? TIA for answering I also have stage 1 hypertension
Hello Thank you for sharing. As yout shaky hands appear to have a basis in your lifestyle and stress, kindly be firm in abstaining from smoking and alcohol. Also, please consult a psychologist to manage your stress.
@@therapywithdrprabhjot Thanks for your advice, I wish I can tell you all about my stressors so that you can see the big picture but I cant its to personal. I will talk to a psychologist when I have the budget for it. For now my plan is I just have to leave with it and drink my vitamins abstain from my vices leave a healthier life style, sleep at least 6 hours a day, move away from my stressors not over think and just move on with life. Would that be a great plan for now?
@@therapywithdrprabhjot Thank you for your advice I will talk to a psychologist when I have the budget for it. @beyondmiracle4089 then you seem to have psychogenic tremors. Kindly follow some mundfulness exercisea for relaxation and, if possible, consult a psychologist.
Hello I remember you telling me about orthostatic tremors. Have you tried the vitamin supplements and the postural exercises that I linked in the reply?
Could you please talk about the basis of the correct hand movement that starts from the elbow and shoulder? Does the correct and stable hand movement really start with moving the elbow and not the wrist? I wonder about this because I injured my wrist a long time ago and now I suffer from confusion in the lack of flexibility and the inability to start a steady movement. I often start movement from my wrist, which causes me constant pain, especially when writing at the table or writing on the blackboard. It causes pain in the wrist as a result of the lack of flexibility. I hope you talk about it, you are the only one who gives this excellent explanation🙏
Hello All upper limb movements depend on the activity that is performed. Also, if you had an injury, it appears to be weakness of the wrist and hand muscles. Could you be more specific as to what was the injury?
@@therapywithdrprabhjot I sprained my wrist 4 years ago. I went to the doctor at that time and only had an X-ray done. The doctor told me that there was no fracture or problem. He said that if there was something there, there would be swelling in the area, but I never had any swelling or blueness. It was just that the pain came and went over and over again. I tried doing stretching and strengthening exercises, but it didn't work because I think the problem is a loss of flexibility in wrist movement. I am 25 years old. I hope that you have recognized my problem as a result of your experience, Doctor🙏
Do you agree or disagree that the nerves can be taught how to behave? If the mind can influence the heart, blood pressure, and the glands, can it not affect change in the nervous system? When tremors occur, aside from heredity, it is my opinion that something has caused the nerves in the hand to be derailed or go astray, the wrong message or messages have been sent to the hands. In order to get these messages back on track, you have to re-wire or re-program your mind/brain. You should sit down in a quiet place with pen and paper (if you are able to write) and write a Master Induction. If you are unable to write because of your tremors, i suggest you vocalize affirmations or suggestions. This Induction, over time, will give the nerves and muscles a sort of 'blueprint' to follow but you must read it and vocalize it on a regular basis.
@@therapywithdrprabhjot. When one is constantly and repeatedly making suggestions to the mind over a period of time, it imbues the person with a sense of self-confidence...a self-confidence that will be instrumental in how the body reacts in certain situations but you have to tell your body how it should react in tense situations...you must direct it to a mode of calmness and steadiness.

@vimisanthosh5864 thanks for sharing this. 1kg dumbells can work as well but usually the number of repetitions are kept low to avoid fatigue in various muscle groups.

If we all can agree that tremors are related to the nervous system, might we also agree that hypnosis can program the nerves to behave calmly and steady in various circumstances? Can we not hypnotize ourselves into believing the the nerves in our hands will be calm and steady in tense and arousing situations?
Hello As I don't have experience in this area , one can explore the possibility of the same. Are you interested in practicing this or want to try this for your tremors?
@@therapywithdrprabhjot. When you say you don't have experience in this area, I'm assuming you are referring to hypnosis. I do not have professional experience in this field either BUT I have been experimenting with hypnosis for years in the form of writing and vocal affirmation. If the mind has domination over our bodily functions, and it does.....it can speed up our heart rate, lower our blood pressure, and cause us to perspire. If the mind can affect such bodily responses as these, surely it can influence the nervous system. Don't positive changes take place when the mind goes into meditation? This is a prime example of the mind's ability to affect change in the body.
