Yea man, Tremor is that guy. You can end a combo in tactical takedown, do the tremor low and get about 420 off 1 bar+ kameo. And get that twice in a match because he comes back so much faster. It's beast
@@Tech_D3mon I don’t know specifically what combo he’s referring to, but I know you can combo off Reiko’s takedown the same way you can off the command grab. The timing is a little different though but I imagine you can do string into knee, s3-4 takedown, use Tremor ground pound to continue the combo, then s3 into EX slide, s3 takedown
Combo from command grab, combo from his armored wake up, all his basic conversions set up for crystalline armor safely. Assuming you don't end with a command grab or tactical takedown. Definitely going to be his best, not to mention the overhead slash low Plus on block scenarios. The big thing is that it comes back more than darius.
Yeah, I'm just looking at this Reiko/Tremor tech and imagining how happy Rewind must be. Maybe I'm speaking too soon, but this seems like Reiko's go-to kameo.
Yeah I didn't even know he could combo off the armor when I recorded this, no doubt in my mind this is Reiko's best kameo now. Even if you only use Tremor the same way you would use Darrius, him coming back faster and giving you more damage off all your conversions is the icing on the cake
You have to do it right after you switch into aftershock. His attacks can only be done simultaneously with your attacks if you do it immediately after switching. Otherwise you can’t do it mid combo.
Basically what Rusty said. If you try to do the attack while in Aftershock, it comes out as a summon assist. During summons, your character is animation locked, so you can’t do the command grab and the ground pound at the same time. However, Tremor’s form swap is an ambush, and if you input the attack you want while Tremor is out on the screen after being called to swap, he’ll do the assist immediately as an ambush. This allows you to be in the middle of the command grab animation and call out Tremor to do the ground pound simultaneously. Essentially, you have to be in either Metallic form or Crystalline form to start in order to get this to work. To swap to Aftershock from Metallic is down + kameo, and Crystalline to Aftershock is just the kameo button, then the ground pound is back + kameo once you’re in Aftershock. For the timing on when to call him out, basically as soon as you grab the opponent, you wanna do the assist immediately after. If you get the timing right, the dash up s3 should connect every time. Also keep in mind that when you get a knockdown of any kind, you can swap forms, even if Tremor is on cooldown, so when you get the meter back to do it again, it will already be set up for you. Hopefully this helps :)
I’m not gonna lie my friend, I’m not the best at coming up with creative combos like that but I’ll try and see what I can do. Thank you for watching 🙏🏿
tried doing the same back kameo move tech with scorpion and for some reason the aftershock move becomes a combo reset, but is completely blockable? i see countless reikos convert off this move without issue but for some reason my implementation of it is completely blockable. i must be doing something wrong right? also if i use the move regularly and not as an ambush assist its not blockable. very tweak
Are you trying to do it off a move that’s not considered a dual animation? When Reiko uses command grab or takedown, he’s still apart of the animation when the ground pound connects so it’s technically all one combo. If you try to do it off a move that doesn’t basically knock the character out of the animation, it behaves like an OTG and resets the combo, putting the opponent in auto-block. I don’t know what move you’re trying it off of but that’s the only thing I can think of right now
@@haysan32 i was trynna input temor during devouring flames (back forward 4) its the closest thing scorp has to the body slam other than his dash which also wasn’t working great
Have you used Darrius before? The timing is about the same as that. You wanna input the kameo as Reiko is dropping their head, and make sure you hold back so they stay up long enough for the ground pound to connect
@@haysan32yeah holding back and making Tremor attack is the problem. I can call him on the same timing but I can't hold back and tell tremor to do the triple hit at the same time. It's either I hold back and roll out correctly but I won't get tremor to hit, or I will get tremor to hit but I won't be able to roll out on the right side.
@@Tech_D3mon What’s best for me is to input Tremor before you hold back. It seems counter-intuitive at first, but you can call out Tremor early, not too early but before Reiko actually slams their head down. It’ll give you time to have the input for Tremor already registered and you won’t have to worry about it, then you hold back after and it should work every time
I respect that, I just love being able to combo off the command grab but that’s the beauty of this game. You can pick whatever combinations you want and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses
@@Blackheart. how long have you been a MK fan ? EVERYBODY KNOWS Darrius even when he was playable was the truth. Tremor is fye asf no lie, but Darrius is just Him definitely contest for any Kano
@@dawgtaz Since I was like 4, so about 23 years. Always been my favorite fighting game, by far. Never been a fan of Darrius’ design. May be a personal preference, but I’ve always thought he looked corny. I don’t mean to be aggressive about it, if you love the character then that’s dope. MK has someone for everyone, that’s why I’ve always loved it.
