I Hope they buff the Support guns in the next update, today i finally grinded my ass up to Rank 10 with the Support and I knew the Hout was a bad gun but holy shit after using it by myself it was worse than i thought. The Hout is like a dumped down Lewis gun and the Lewis gun is already a Hitmarker machine. Overall i think the Support guns deserve a Buff.

Is it just me or is sniping a looooottttt easier than BF4 and wayyy more fun than BF4

Idea for Bunker Camping on Monte Grappa : It would be cool if you could just bomb the top of the Bunker . What I mean is just throw some nades or dynamite there and there will be a hole were u just can Jump in. Like if u Support this idea !

Seriously? Suppression is the ONLY way a support player can survive against an enemy sniper! The LMGs can't even hit the side of a barn.

i actually imagined BF1 to feature much more trench warfare maps. the first part of the vid looks absolutely amazing, the burned no man's land moon craters, like you're fighting in hell! other maps look nice as well but in my view dont really fit the WW1 theme too well

I love the Periscope. Not only is it good for spotting long range targets, but i believe the highlight appears for your squad as well, plus it's great for finding a sniper that's pinning you down

Just to throw this information out there for people! The 1895 Russian is actually the 1895 Winchester repeater in .30 caliber Army. That year, Winchester tried to come out with a new rifle firing smokeless cartridges chambered for the new Army standard issue caliber. The weapon was carried by the officers in the 1st Volunteer cav during the Spanish American war, otherwise known as the rough riders. The weapon was somewhat obsolete by the first world war, having been surpassed by bolt action designs, none the less the Russians were in need of arms so they requisitioned hundreds of thousands of these rifles, I believe chambered for their own 7.62x51R.

the periscope is actually really usefull in some situations, like if you get shot at by another snipe and you hide behind a rock or something you can find the sniper wihtout being shot at. Or you can just highlight a shit ton of enemies and watch the spot assists roll in

The Mars Automatic Pistols were some really interesting (and ridiculously complex) weapons that never actually made it into commercial production. There's a channel called Forgotten Weapons that has a video going into some great detail about how they worked.

What do y'all feel about having an animation for when explosions go off close to you but not close enough to kill you. One that knocks you down and your hearing gets impaired for a second

The perescope is amazing for referencing where the enemy is without exposing yourself so you can prepare your scope and adjust it accurately, plus when behind cover you gain the element of surprise

Spotting flare is one of the most useful gadget in bf1 , especially when taking a point.

The medic train for me is terrible because I rarely get revived but I try to revive everyone and throw med packs also

The periscope is also a range finder. On the right hand side there is a slider that goes up and down with a number giving you the distance. So it is really useful for finding the sweet spot.

the trench periscope is incredibly useful. Spotting a player/vehicle that becomes an obvious bright red target actually makes assault players destroy it asap

the best pistol to run with the Scout is the Mle1903. With decent aim you have a much faster killing time then most Mp´s and LMG´s. Imo (no hate) LevelCapGaming you know what you are talking about, but you miss the point of a good sidearm. Cheers Edit: The M1911 is also an awesome pistol, but the Mle1903 got the same damage, more bullets, and better hipfire! You should defnitely check it out!

I can not snipe very good with a sniper with a scope only with the infrantary variants

Oil of Empires and Kaiserschlacht are my favorites, I mainly use an artillery truck (default package) to hit airplanes out of the sky.

I love the trench periscope. Besides being able to stay behind cover while spotting, it also has a range finder which is very helpful if you like to try some long range sniping every once in a while and zero in your distances on the gun. I think it's a very underrated gadget, but I def understand why an aggressive player wouldn't prefer to equip it. Good vid Levelcap!

I've actually really enjoyed using the trench periscope; I play with the HUD cut off, so it allows me to look over the trenches to find targets without giving the scope glare that gives me away.

I agree totaly on having scope sway too, so if you are an exp player you still might be able to get the kill if you manage to line the shot up while beeing supressed.

I like using the Springfield sniper the most. I know it has a difficult sweet spot but it's fun to use such an iconic weapon.

It'd be cool if the revive had a full animation, similar to how the backstab knife animation works where the medic would have to go through the whole animation to revive a teammate. It'd make it more immersive that just stabbing a syringe and watching your teammates body instantly change to prone, and also balances out the revive by adding some time onto it,

the parascope you just highly under rated. You can spot for your team the entire match. If you look at a teamwork aspect and not one man army

Another way to use the trench parascope is if you're pinned down or just took a hit from an enemy sniper, you get behind cover, spot with the parascope so you're not completely useless, and wait for the enemy to loose interest.

Think you neglect the fact that the Mars has such an insane hipfire accuracy that there is barely a point in ads with this pistol. I´ve hit enemies 50 or more meters away just shooting from the hip. It basically shoots exactly where your crosshair center is it´s insane.

After watching half this video.. I went in the game 3:00 in the morning.. tried it out for a few rounds and damn is it fun! Definitely my favorite for medium to long ranges!

You already do get scope sway whenever you are suppressed, but it also causes your bullets to deviate randomly on top of that.

that Trench Periscope reminds me of the Scout Binoculars in Star Wars battlefront....in the sense it just lights the enemy up red.

I like the fire suppression the way it is. Snipers are the bane of my fps gaming exsistence and anything that helps to make their job harder is ok by me. :)

I think most people dont know how to use the trench periscope,Its great being able to spot enemies over obstacles but more importantly its amazing for counter sniping.

The periscope is great on amiens. It does amazing stuff if you are hiding in buildings

The trench periscope is useful for sniper vs sniper because you can see and spot where they are without and danger then you can just peek up and snipe quickly before they can aim you up

I know this is old, but I would like to add something. With the telescope (gadget), you're able to see exactly how far something is. It gives the exact meters away when using the gadget so I use to better zero in players.

For aggressive Sniping, the SMLE Infantry is my go to weapon. using iron sights for a bolt action feels more authentic along with bayonet charging!

I think they should make a map that's just a giant trench system. If you go above you are exposed but you can move around quicker, with some tunnels and bunkers

I found that you don't even need to kill the enemy to defend the point when sniping. The surprise and high damage from and unknown source is usually enough to make them run away and abandon the point

I usually only use the trench periscope when i'm counter-sniping, or when pinned down by tanks or suppressing fire.

The Mars Automatic Does the perfect amount of damage to finish targets that you have tagged with your sniper in one shot, thats why I use it

mars automatic for me works amazing. usually find myself in cqb situations where i'm able to hip fire them once down to low hp, and all it takes after that is 1 shot from the mars.

the trench periscope also tells you the range which I find very useful.

this is an off topic question, why on some rifles it shows if its on single fire or auto and on another it shows no info even though it can switch between both? is it my settings or the type of conquest im playing?

I like the trench parascope quite a bit actually. Use it all the time. Great for looking over something and then popping up to counter snipe the unsuspecting enemy. Also, I have noticed that spotting things with the trench scope is a great way to prioritize enemy targets for your teammates. When I highlight infantry with the scope, I get the spot bonus almost instantly, and when I spot vehicles like tanks and planes, my team seems to really put more effort into taking out those highlighted targets. I even highlight the behemoths. I feel like the trench scope is pretty helpful and I enjoy using it. +LevelCapGaming

what do you think about the Gewehr M.95 Marksman? it is the only scout rifle to not have a sweet spot but it has a straight pull bolt like from previous battlefields so you don't have to scope out to re-chamber another round. i actually like to use it despite its drawbacks because it does 80 max damage and your follow up shot is extremely quick and you don't lose your target

I don't like scoped snipers and I always use bolt-actions as a rifleman, but I tried the scoped Gewehr 98 Sniper yesterday and I actually enjoyed it very much.

Me and my best friend are always the ones to push up first. A game was won once because me and him both spawned on the blimp jumped on different flags and our team finally pushed up behind us
