We should wear the shapes, colors and fits we love, not unflattering ones just because they’re trendy. I refused to buy any of the recently-trendy oversized blazers. It’s not that I didn’t try them, I tried many on, but they just didn’t work with my petite, narrow shape. Now that fitted ones are back, I’m buying blazers again, I love them. I don’t disqualify clothes that I love just because they are not trendy, I keep wearing them, often combining them with more current pieces. I like to look modern, but don’t obsess on trends, at my age, 63, I wear only what I love. There are always some current trends I love, mostly they are classic-based styles, those are the ones I buy.

Love your channel. I have been an interior designer for over 40 years and color is important in every area of design. Your grasp of color is spot on.
