Trent Grisham's big league career has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. But, in San Diego, he may have just found a home for a long time.

Talk about Grisham getting his playoff moments sooner rather than later... Hitting terribly in the 2022 regular season, below the Mendoza Line, but brought the HOTTEST bat to the Postseason with (so far) three huge Home Runs. One of them eventually ended up being the decider in a pivotal Game 3 at home against the Dodgers. But let's not forget he took two Cy Young winners deep in Scherzer and deGrom. He's been smoking balls this Postseason and I hope it doesn't let up!

Padres got a great player with a lot of self doubt, you could see the uncertainty in his at bats and fielding. He's completely turned it around and I couldn't be prouder of him. It's not the mistakes that define a man but the way he learns from them and perseveres.

Trent is showing he has what it takes, I do remember that error with the Brewers and I thought maybe at first the ball jumped on him last second and went out of his reach or maybe he over ran it. Who knows, we've all been there. But I never ever thought about that "haunting him" because let's face it. The Brewers kind of haunt themselves. Trent Grisham is easily showing potential to become one of the best outfielders & versatile hitters (power to all parts and stings the ball out of the infield for base hits.) In a day where the 3rd baseman can now play shallow right without consequence (rule wise) and it has stumped a lot of hitters how to get around that sometimes. Grisham has proven he can get around whatever you throw his way.

Great video. Seriously good editing. These past few seasons have proved to me that Grisham is one to keep and I hope the Padres do. I know Tatis is the poster boy but Padres have some serious clutch players in Grisham, Profar, Cronenworth, Hosmer, Myers, and I hope Kim finds his swagger soon. I’m not expecting a WS in 2021, but these next few years I feel good about, so long as this comradery stays put. No more 1-year contracts, let’s build the team.

Knowing this was the kid who flopped in the playoffs with the Brewers. Helps me understand, that this kid will be special, and will play a very important roll in the near future. Stars shine brighter, when they over come adversity. An Trent, has the IT factor. He has already begun shining. And its gonna get Brighter for years to come! Mark my words.

I hate how many fans fail to realize how much English that ball had on it that he missed. He was running in the direction the ball was hit (to his hand side) and the ball had wicked spin and shot the complete opposite way. In all honesty, even if the nats just tied the game that inning they were still going to pull off the win because of that huge momentum swing. I’m glad he got out of there and started to ball out with the friars, such a better fit for him anyway.
