I think the catalyst for the gun is going to be tunnel vision to help with the consistency of the super burst. And I think if you hit all head shots you can one burst someone at 6 resilience.

@@SirDimetrious It's confirmed to be tunnel vision but the most important thing here is that the exotic's perk states explicitly "Reload" rather than "Refill from reserves" so tunnel vision will proc from the looks of things, can't wait for a catalyst video.

Tunnel vision doesn’t proc when the gun fills the mag, catalyst should leave 1 bullet left so you can reload to get tunnel if you want, or keep unrepentance right away

I used Trespasser fiercely back in D1. After using it a little bit, I'm remembered how great it feels. At least in PvE. Haven't taken into PvP yet.

I really love this gun, especially in PvP. Three burst Sidearms have always been one of my favorite weapons and I never got use this in D1, very happy!

So I've been using this in PvP and I think it's actually really quite good. The key is to pair it with a scout or pulse and run double primary then only pull out the sidearm when you get jumped by multiple people at a time.

You may want to consider running this with charged-with-light mods to allow for 'surprise attack' which boosts the damage of sidearms by +35% - I imagine this makes the burst much chunkier.

The catalyst is just Tunnel Vision, increased ADS speed and Target Aquisition after you activate the perk with a reload.

Highly recommend pairing it with charge of light Surprise Attack & swift charge mods, since it only consumes one stack each kill. IIRC it’s a 35% damage buff in PvP

Ye it's 35% when running with trick sleeves it can 1 burst with the normal burst lmao. It's super good when built into but at the same time I'm a sidearm fiend

You can 1 burst with it with all headshots at Tier 6 resil or lower. 10% or higher buffs allow the Unrepentant burst to one burst everyone since it fires 6 shots in one burst. I can't wait to get this personally. I love sidearms

Yeah the perk seems much more powerful in PvE than PvP. In PvP all it does is basically just fire the burst twice for one trigger pull, no extra damage or anything, so pretty underwhelming. Don't get me wrong though, this thing is an absolute beast in PvE.

Honestly it looks pretty solid. You basically auto get them one shot with the first super burst. The TTK on it with the perk active is pretty nutty.

Some friends and I jumped into custom games in Crucible to test the side arm to see how the burst worked in PvP. A full burst, if you managed to land every single shot as a headshot... Will leave them with like 2 HP, tested at all resilience on Titan and Hunter. Seemed to do the same damage all around

Mate the trespasser was my number one crucible gun back in D1. Its all I ever used, I will be using it exclusively in crucible here too. I love the hip fire reticle on it in D2 its the best one in the game. Just the one thing it needs is range.

People probably already told you but the caty gives the gun tunnel vision which plays with the gun since you already reload the gun to get its perk and tunnel gives it better aim assist after reloading after a kill.

you can one burst if you hit all heads with superburst, if you only hit 5 you do 180 but all 6 is 216. the catalyst makes it easier to one burst in crucible

most of the time you’re not supposed to actually try and kill them with the unrepentant burst, but the burst and one normal burst kills really quickly and the archetype has one of the fastest ttks in the game

I mean Trespasser is a really good gun. It's a stat beast, the exotic perk lets you one shot on Resilience 6 or lower if you land all crits, the only thing it lacks really is aim assist which is only really a problem if you're on controller or just aren't the best shot in the west.

Hunter, mech trick sleeves, surprise attack mod.... and pick your subclass and throw on like a shotty or a sniper that way you can use the damage buff from suprise attack to shut down apes with a side arm

It is incredible in PVP. But I’m a sidearm main. You can kill someone with a full super burst if you hit all headshots. And the followup burst is so fast that even if you don’t kill with the super burst you can clean them up and reproc unrepentant easily. Catalyst gives tunnel vision.

It's actually pretty good lol. It's a great base sidearm, and when you get the burst going, you can 1 shot with perfect accuracy, or basically leave them one shot with a good burst and kill with one follow up.

They should buff adaptive burst sidearms to deal 36 per bullet and this thing will be insane. Also I recommend mask of bakris to make this thing 2 burst as standart and 1 burst as charged

It two bursts to the head if they’re under 6 resilience and one bursts in the charged mode, 2 burst kill is .54 seconds so it’s definitely good you just have to be super precise and hope they’re low resil
