@@RobRochon That was only one of the cases. The other was settled out of court. Doesn't mean he's innocent. It just means the case got swept under the rug. He might not have done anything. However, noone will ever really know. Also, if you think 30 MLB teams would pass on a former cy young winner, for no reason, you aren't seeing the full picture. There is clearly something they know that the public doesn't. Further more, the guy his a bad rep for being a horrible club guy. No one wants to manage that drama in and out of the clubhouse. The other thing to consider is, for the past few years, he's been playing overseas ball and now Mexican ball. The level of compettion isn't as high as the majors. Mexican baseball used to be considered AAA level, till a few years ago. So, I'm not saying he's not smoking a bunch of tomato cans. I'm just saying there is a big difference from dealing with hitting down there and than having to pitch to Judge , Ohtani, or Henderson.

@@Stryyder1 I'm sure plenty of teams wanted to pick him up. The problem is that there are enough simps now that let their women think for them. We are a generation that were told that women are better than men and that they can do everything a man can do and better. The modern feminist movement is not about equal rights, it's about supremacy. So knowing that, it's easy to see why executives don't want to deal with that hot potato. WE are to blame, not the teams. They are still in the business of making money. Oh, and he probably pissed off someone in the MLB administration.

@@roots4x I think the MLB admins definitely don't like him. That said I've been waiting my entire life for my team to get a ring. The fact that this guy's pitching everywhere EXCEPT the MLB, while my team is throwing out minor leaguers on the mound every game, is insulting coming from a fan.

The fact that he's not back in the MLB has nothing to do with those two cases of wrongful accusations made against Trevor... it's the fact that he called out the 'whole league' for cheating with sticky stuff and the MLB wilfully looking away...

What I like about Trevor he honestly cares about the team he plays for and is a very serious competitor. He is also so very helpful with the other pitchers on the team to help them to grow and improve!

I've followed Bauer his entire career because he is fun to watch and also has filthy stuff but it looks like he is getting more movement and more swings and misses. Hope he plays wherever makes him happy! 19!!!! Wow!!!

Look, he served his punishment, he wasn't found guilty in any kind of court for a crime, so why couldn't he return to the mlb? He certainly still has excellent stuff. Let me tell you, my tigers need pitching, we have two good pitchers on the staff this year, I'd personally love to have Trevor Bauer as a tigers fan. If given a shot, Trevor could be a cy young candidate. The problem is, a team needs to take a shot on him. If one team takes a shot, and even talks to him about signing a contract, a lot of teams will follow. A playoff team though especially one that really needs help in the rotation should really consider bringing in Trevor Bauer as a starter, the Baltimore orioles come to mind, the Seattle mariners come to mind, the Philadelphia Phillies come to mind, the new york Yankees come to mind.

You're telling me. Hopefully this IL stint menas Turnbull gets a chance (he will) and performs well enough they finally give him Walkers spot. Topper is so old school though it might take consecutive no hitters. At least Sanchez has been awesome and aside from a bad game here or there, Walker has been the only real weakness in the rotation. 😊

Bauer is a prime example of someone being their own worst enemy… he is also a prime example of “cancel culture” we as people should have never made it ok to make false accusations against someone for financial gain… so many celebrities have just paid off people who made allegations against them because it was faster and less expensive, leading to the situation mr. Bauer found himself in…. Kudos for standing up for yourself, now the judicial system should punish those that lied about him!!!!

Of course mexican and japan leagues aren’t mlb, but you probably haven’t seen world baseball classics to judge how well other national teams can play and many times beat the american national team. It’s really not that easy down there either, Trevor is a real good pitcher.

The Pirates have two confirmed domestic abusers currently on the roster, and have had the 5th spot in their rotation filled by the bullpen for almost a month. It's an absolute joke that a Cy Young level talent who is willing to play for league minimum isn't already signed. There's only one way this makes sense, and it's collusion to blackball Trev.

The saddest part about this,is that there has obviously been talk behind closed doors that it’s a no no to sign him Obviously,there’s a reason everyone is afraid of signing him I’m amazed at how much he has been punished this far One thing is for certain,Trevor seems to have taken all the steps to grow as a player,be professional and re invent his life His RU-vid channel is amazing and he does a great job at showing the life of a professional athlete
