There's so many people that are now nostalgic for the jetpack era, and wont play the new stuff. Thats the problem, cod has such a huge player base and so many games that set a standard that makes impossible to appeal to everyone. There will always be complaints and incessant whining.

idk what people are talking about with lack of atmosphere...there doesnt appear to be any debris or meteors coming down, and the air is breathable, we can confirm this by observing the operators appear to be breathing, and dont appear to be melting alive due to radiation... just a weird take

On a surface level it's definitely lacks character, but we still have yet to see what happens in other areas of the map that were locked off

Round based, return of crews, harder Easter eggs, better atmosphere on Terminus, story told through map, not Intel, Focus on round based without adding other experimental modes, etc. Theyve addressed and changed a lot of what people wanted.

The entire Triple Pack A Punch and Rarety System fits in a 2000 Points Perk called Double Tap 2.0 Scorestreaks are not Zombies related and shouldn’t be in Zombies at all. Ground Loot and Armor is a Warzone Thing and it shouldn’t affect the core Zombies Gameplay. There was nothing wrong with finding Shield Pieces and building a Shield, just a few games or a YT guide and you will know every spawn location of every Shield Piece without even looking. There was also nothing wrong with the old Point System, and it was fun to create a strategy to optimise Points. Loadouts are an overrated luxury, it takes away of the whole point of Survival and getting better through the progression of that match. And the fact that Jug is just 3 doors away is also destroying the point of Survival and trying to safe yourself until you finally get the chance to buy Jug so you can feel safe. So no, they didn’t adress all complaints. And no-one give me that crap of “Just start with a Pistol” it’s not the same, many video’s are about that topic.
Kino is the PERFECT example. Easy, fun, chill and dripping with atmosphere and aesthetic. They could made a super casual map at least look appealing. Liberty falls looks so boringgggg
The pinnacle of what bothers the older zombies community is they’re removing the skill from it: You have a minimap telling you exactly where you’re going. You have armor on top of Jugg to take (14!!) hits. You spawn in with a broken loadout so you don’t have to worry about buying wall weapons or the RNG from the box. You have plenty of room so you never can get trapped. You can see health bars above zombies so you know when a zombie is about to die. No one is against innovation. But this isn’t that. This is catering to the lowest percentile of the fanbase.
Thats because the community doesn’t agree on all aspects . 1/2 the community likes new modern zombies. There’s also a huge percentage that’s don’t even like RBZ & prefer open world like outbreak or MWZ. WAW players hated BO1. BO1 players hated BO2. BO2 players hated BO3. BO3 players hated BO4 & you see where this is going?
honestly im going to say it... theyre talking about nacht, kino, town, the basic fun maps that you can just hop in and fuck around with that have no EEs, no complexities, just chill, straightforward maps.
Zombies never held our hand before you just had to learn on the go. Like yes I find it good we got 2 maps but catering to non zombies kinda stumbles over zombies players.

The one thing I don’t like, is the reuse of old bosses, let the mangler go! He is a Russian zombie, why is he in an American map? why is this massive beast in the early days of an outbreak? It doesn’t make sense
The biggest fan service we’ve gotten from activision was allowing a single round based map on Vanguard when they had no plans to do so. I believe that was a shift made entirely by the community. Of course the story is heating up more so we’ll have to see but gameplay wise I don’t understand why round based is the only thing activision thinks will bring everything together.
@TheGamingRevo Please make this point for me in your videos, I've noticed that when you guys talk about how there's no main crew for liberty falls that no one has ever brought up in correlation that this is usually where Treyarch would have had a guest crew, or celebrity crew for these type of maps and it was the perfect opportunity with this map could of had a random guy from the town, Blanchard I believe was his name from the intro, so many options honestly , and I feel this is a good enough point and missed opportunity that it needed to be called out thanks
He didn't misspeak. He was talking about BO3. The point he was making was that Liberty Falls is supposed to be The Giant. Designed as a far more simple experience for people to just catwalk camp and slay zombies.
The giant, even being simple, is 10x the zombie map that liberty falls is, look at even kino, small map, no PAC a Punch, yet the most iconic map of all time. Casual doesn’t have to mean lame.
Highly unlikely just because the acquisition was too recent to have been anything along those lines. On top of it, Zenimax would have to work with Activision before Bethesda would help with anything CoD related even if Microsoft owns both.
Yeah, liberty falls is my last complaint about BO6. I’ve been yearning for a simple and casual map for zombies for awhile since they kinda stopped doing that after BO2. I still hate salvage, kill streaks, and armor plates.

Lazy map design, lazy HUD, no love was put into this map, they can claim for it to be casual as much they want, this basically looks like a unused warzone part of map that they transitioned to zombies in order to claim they have 2 maps at launch.
Liberty falls = new transit. They are going to drop 3 dlc maps and then for a super easter egg,there will be portals to go to the 3 different location. The 1st dlc will be a map to show how the crew gets to liberty falls.
I think people are getting angry at Liberty Falls too early and are forming opinions with limited footage/gameplay. Its fine to not be excited for the map with what was shown, however people should understand that we normies have not gotten our hands on the mode and watching gameplay versus actually playing it is vastly different

It doesn’t look like zombies. You’re even saying it yourself. It’s likely going to be the most played zombies map due to its intended accessibility. It should have served as an intro and show more themes and specifically effects around the map to get the casual players to want to try more of what they see
Who tf is asking for simple? They could have easy mode for those players but zombies should be dynamic and scary. Just think if Treyarch had a whole team releasing a full game only zombies. The world would be incredible.
That would be great, a stand alone game with the Mechanics, Formula and Systems of Bo1, Bo2 and Bo3. Bo1 and Bo2 Horror and Bo3 Movement and Graphics. Re-release every map ever created and Remaster ALL of them.

I feel like Liberty Falls will have a dedicated crew and they are just keeping them secret for now, possibly because they will be familiar characters and they want them to be a surprise.
The people who played terminus said ammo was limited and then they had a ridiculous amount of ammo at the event. Definitely suggests they made it easier.

Seeing how good you stacked up your first day of a new cod and trying to get better everyday so you would be dominating was part of the fun of a new cod, that definitely has been lost since live seasonal content and warzone made its appearance

The mutation for me doesn’t make a lot of sense, in my opinion they just wanted an excuse to use more already made assets when they could’ve had us turn into something much cooler like.. idk AN ACTUAL MUTATED CHARACTER? What about turning yourself into a robotic cyborg even is a mutation? Oh right that’s not even a mutation at all, that would be a transformation..
I feel like if for more casual, why not remake the first original zombies map that was ever made back in WaW, Nacht Der Untoten. At least the simplicity of what they said they were going for with liberty falls would be more on the nostalgic side of the classic round based zombies; keeping that zombies vibe rather than the more warzone zombies vibe people are complaining about as well.
The only thing I think I would change is instead of Liberty being midday, change it to late evening. I always wanted a mechanic in zombies that changes the time of day. Other than that, brings me back to the time of just hopping on Town on BO2 to kill zombies for the hell of it.
I’m fine if the bonus map for beginners is dog buns but the other 4 zombies maps better be innovative. Edit like under water maps or maps in the desert
I feel like round based multiplayer maps would have been perfect for this. Maps like drive in work really well even if they use mw3 maps which im not against but the main zombie maps should be for zombie players because it's been 5 years since cold war first released and that's a crazy amount of time imo to be catering to other modes.
I don't think anyone cares that liberty falls is a casual map, I don't know why people thought it would be a full scale map, they were going for something like bo3 where terminus is the huge shadows of evil type map and liberty falls is the smaller the giant type map, the issue is the giant has incredible atmosphere, liberty falls looks horrible and there's some very easy things they could do to make it look better, it looks like outbreak which has the absolute worst aesthetic in the entire call of duty franchise, the HUD is also a major issue, like it's so easy to make a zombies themed HUD with personality, there's a lot of smaller issues but those two things are the main issues, even in multiplayer there were little details missing that made some things feel awkward and unpolished, which is embarrassing for the longest development time in cod history
Scorestreaks would be cool if they were zombie unique scorestreaks, but using multiplayer/warzone ones is just boring/lazy. I think the mangler transformation item is a really good example of what i mean, its unique to zombies and would fit the theme. Like, i think it'd be cool if there was a scorestreak that summoned some of those little flying creatures which periodically do damage to zombies, or one that gives you a big rectangular shield on your back which has a limited number of hits and can actually be held in your hands and do like a rocket boost forward. Them kind of experimenting with small simple stuff would be much more in character than using an RC-XD or putting down a turret.
I love OG zombies, but im stoked to play Liberty Falls to just mindlessly slay zombies and go for high rounds! Terminus will be epic, and i hope they continue to give us more maps like Terminus, but also give us more round based maps like Liberty Falls. Nothing wrong with having both; maybe we will get two maps a season
It’s as simple as this: Remmeber when you not know what’s behind a door and you were on a quest to find the box or find jugg. There was always a strategic idea you had to utilize with ur points to get these things. Jugg was always a high risk high reward. Remmeber you would start with a pistol and you would slowly make ur way to better guns. There was this tension that every round was getting harder and you had to be ready to survive. There’s none of that anymore with ur class weapon now. No point in box. No point on jugg which is two doors away becsuse of the armor. Now you know where jugg always is and the box because of the map….how is this fun? Discovering a new map the layout for urself. Trying to figure out the map and the pattern and the way to play is what zombies is. Not knowing was behind door number 2; is it jugg?? Is it a wall weapon??? Is it a dead end??? Perks is also useless in this game because now you just spam them all at the wundefizz. There’s so much more too it’s so sad. If they don’t give us a classic zombies mode. I think it’s over for zombies. They are going to lose 90 percent of their player base. People tell us not to complain and we complain too much. Well we have no choice. It’s either we complain and Mabye we get what we want or we don’t end zombies slowly turns into warzone.
liberty falls would be better if as the rounds progress and u open up more of the map, zombies create world damage/change closing off some parts of the map making it harder as it goes on by creating new training opportunities/ routes etc. time of day changing as daytime goes on would help with atmosphere aswell
I just wish they cared honestly. Cold War was NOT fun. It was an XP grinding machine for the warzone players and that was that. I have played ONE game of Firebase Z where me and my friend completed the easter egg on our first try on the MAP. Not the first easter egg attempt, the first MAP attempt. It's embarrassing. Once you complete those maps main quests the map just loses its interesting quality. Think of a map like CotD, VERY simple easter egg, but still endlessly replayable and fun. Nothing in Cold War or BO6 will be anything else than the warzone sidemode for XP grinding.
Tbf it could be they could be survival maps. Now don’t get it twisted I think what we see is at least 75% but if you need to do an ee step to access it then it would make a little sense to not show it
honestly what i dont get is this dumb casual argument. for comparison: Black Ops 1 is the most sold COD gave ever, and Kino def Toten is BELOVED. its so hugely different from the other two modes but thats exactly why it was so intriguing to people. trying to muddle everything just creates blandness, just like we see now. style is not a bad thing…
It’s crazy cause this map is literally just hrs after the zombies show up. So it wouldn’t be destroyed and filled with blood. We honestly have not seen the full map. Everything was turned off. Even certain areas of the map was closed off just give it a chance befor you make your opinion.
They could’ve easily meddle timeline by a day to make it not soar to the eye as a zombies map. Minimum effort into the atmosphere, like some fire, debris, or at least make it night time to make it less obvious it’s just a multiplayer port

I think that liberty falls will add areas every season or 2. I can’t imagine 4 DLC maps all taking place in liberty falls. UNLESS. It is like Tranzit. The full map broken into different parts. Church, mansion, Janus towers, town.
That is also my theory, but it shouldn’t affect othter DLC Maps. I said in another comment: Liberty Balls is TranZit, the big Map with the EE. And the 4 sections would be bonus bare bones survival Maps without an EE just for fun.
Whether there is or isn't an easter egg or secret area is irrelevant because the maps layout is terrible it seriously just looks like a MP map they put zombies in

Terminus won’t be a harder experience. The bo6 system makes it so not the map. It might be complicated with a good ee though so I think it could still be fun.
My main problem is the theme of zombies has disappeared now it’s still multiplayer theme, also the thrill for me is gone , just recently I went back to play world at war zombies and the thrill and scariness of it was there the theme was on point all dark and gritty ,and actually challenges you and makes you think, shits too easy now 😂

Terminus looks like origins or shadows of evil or mob of the dead. Awful unfun task driven maps that make you do 40 things to have have fun. Liberty falls looks like kino and the giant fun to the point zombies no fun barriers like alot of maps make you do to have fun.
Yeah thier crap excuses for poor/lazy designs. New zombies is trash half the mechanics render the other half useless but they kept em anyways so the could lie n call it "classic round" to trick people for pre order sales.
