I did one the other day on the gas grill. Marinade over night, reverse sear, 350 temp indirect for about 30 min. until internal temp hits 100. Then move to over the heat and sear 4-6 min per side one time until internal temperature hits 130°. Rest for 15 minutes and bam!!! Perfect med rare. My best tri tip yet.
