Opening statements began in the trial of the three men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia. Gregory McMichael, his son Travis McMichael and their neighbor William Bryan were charged in Arbery’s death after cellphone video showed the 25-year-old being chased and shot in February 2020. On Wednesday, a judge declined to change the racial makeup of the jury, which consists of 11 White people and one Black person.

even if police had arrived , Mr Abery had NO requirement to speak to them, he had a right to remain silent , also police would have to be a to express articulable crime he HAD committed or they thought he committed, they would have had to release Mr. Abery the camera had proof no crime committed. So all the bull about civic duty is just that bull. The crime was being a Black man , jogging not submitting to demands of the folks on trial. and as a side note if you chase a person, trap and threaten them with blowing their headoff , they have a right to defend themselves or attempt to save their own life. How can you be so stupid? You're actually right; he didn't have to speak to them, he could have kept going. Instead, he went out of his way to attack the guy on the other side of the truck. This makes it an automatic self defense case. Arbery was a criminal known as "the jogger" because he would feign jogging to rob and steal. This is in police reports from years before. He wasn't jogging, he was casing the joint to steal expensive equipment. He then attacked people who asked him to stop and explain himself, without trying to remove himself from the situation.

You can see the man who pulled the trigger (I don't care to learn his name; the red-haired one) knows from the get-go that he's going to jail. You can see it on his face. Travis is the red haired one.He wore his glasses right though the trial, but,on the day of sentencing,he got back his 20/20 vision.The glasses disappeared.🤓 The acting is over....back to real life Reality hits.

@jim hardy well maybe you haven't heard everything, but I heard from the start they're had been a number of so called break ins, that the dude Larry English was complaining about people on his property, and that arbury had been on tape inside the house, I guess the one thing that was said that I hadn't heard, was that Travis McMichael had called the police on a homeless guy under a bridge, and It didn't make him look any better, because the homeless guy hadn't stolen anything, so the defense is pretty much saying these guys have been suspicious of people, and constantly been wrong

Arbery was just one person visiting the house, but he visited at night, stuff was missing, and he did not submit to citizen's arrest, but in fact charged the guy with the shotgun. Arbery would be ALIVE today if he just stopped and submitted to questioning or waited until police arrive. FACT!

Firearms intimidation would be about right. However. Ahmad did put himself In a deadly situation by assaulting and attempting to take a firearm. Guess what vigilantes: the real person stealing, if anything was truly taken from anywhere, is still at large. By the way, who leaves a gun in an open car in front of your house? You should be charged for that, as you caused it. Did you get insurance for that? Is the gun in your neighborhood under a child’s bed or in their hiding place. If it gets used, you will be responsible. You three “older” men should have been able to use 3 brains and come up with how to be role models for Ahmaud. How you could have said “hi” from your boat. How you could have offered him a new bottle of water. As long as he stayed outside of your house, you may have learned more about Mr Arbery. This was your loss. He was a better man than all three of you plus more in your neighborhood, at least 3-4 additional neighbors, maybe more. Some may have regret as they did not want you to shoot him. You = poor choices.

Which by court rules and procedures is against the law. Belligerent as he was it better be in the court reporting, either way it's definitely on camera.
