Travis McMichael told several lies on the stand. 1) He said the reason why he didn't pursue Arbery when he allegedly saw him at the open site 2 weeks prior to the homicide was because he's, "NOT gonna chase after a person IF I THINK THEY'RE ARMED" Wow!! That's a lie & contradiction because he told police the day he killed Arbery that the reason they chased him with guns was because they "THOUGHT HE WAS ARMED" 2) He said he saw Arbery coming straight at him "like a running back". Well I guess he don't watch too much football because it's clear as day that Arbery was running at a jogging pace based on the evidence of the video! AND his testimony completely contradicts what he told police the day he killed him because both he & his dad told investigators that Arbery "appeared to be getting tired" and that Arbery "knew we had him trapped like a rat" 3) Travis testified when he was pursuing Arbery that he "asked" him to "please stop we wanna talk to u" Well that's not what his dad said to the detectives. Because the detectives said that Greg McMichael admitted to shouting at Arbery to "Stop running or I'll blow ur f@cking head off!" I could go on & on with more, but the prosecution will get into all that & more when they cross examine this guy tmrw

@@BokushingusKendoTV you totally missed the point. I was using this as a hypothetical example of deputizing myself with a weapon and confronting a criminal or suspected criminal trying to be a hero which is often a motive for incidents like this. Likely these two wanted to “play hero” and that is why they confronted a suspected criminal with weapons. McMichael sounds like he is clearly bragging of his “Red Man Training” in the testimony. They likely wanted fame as heroes and likely set this up from the get-go thinking they could hone their training skills as vigilantes. Likely Ahmaud fought because the McMichaels confronted him as if they were white supremacists lynching him from a pickup truck with an armed man standing in the back. Ahmaud likely thought he was being lynched by them which is why he chose to go out fighting. They likely decided to use Ahmaud as a target to hone their training on and set up a stunt to impress law enforcement by their “heroism” given their law enforcement status. They should have waited for police if they believed he was a burglar

L Browne, I lost count of Travis’s lies. As you say, he probably knew Arbery didn’t have a gun, since it would’ve fallen from his pocket or waistband as he ran. Also, the stuff about fearing for his father’s safety makes no sense. His dad was up in the bed of the truck with a gun. Arbery was on the ground and obviously unarmed. Greg had the upper hand in that situation, and Travis knew it. Other lies: 1. He said he knew his dad had a gun but he didn’t see it. That makes no sense. Look at how tight Greg’s pants were that day. No way a gun would fit in them, especially if he was leaning forward and wedging himself into that kid’s car seat. The gun was obviously out and in Greg’s hand and Travis knew it. 2. Greg told police he said, “Stop, or I’ll blow your f*cking head off!” When the prosecutor asked Travis what his dad said, Travis said he couldn’t remember his dad saying that and couldn’t remember what his dad said. Yeah right. 3. He tries to act like Ahmaud was “attacking” Roddie’s truck. This lie was so blatant and stupid that I guffawed and felt insulted at the same time. Does Travis think everyone is stupid?! 4. All that stuff about Ahmaud looking menacing 12 days before the murder sounds like bad acting from Travis. He says Ahmaud lurked in the shadows and was reaching for his waistband as though reaching for a gun. Sounds like he’s exaggerating and wants everyone to think that Ahmaud is some scary boogeyman. If he was so scared of Ahmaud that night, why go home and get his father, a man who has had a stroke, a heart attack, and a busted hip, to go into the dark house before the police even arrive?!

perhaps... but some ethnicities have a worse history of abject wickedness than others . These 3 are representatives of those people. US history is rife with these types of atrocities against people like Armaud Aberey, for no other reason but their own racism and bigotry... Quite a few countries of this ethnicity are guilty of these types of atrocities.... Just more of the same.

This dude was bad news. He couldn't even matriculate in his job in 10 years. His employer saw something about him where they deemed him not promoteable in 10 years of service, man that speaks for itself

His father had all of those health issues (Bad Hip, Stroke, and Old Age), but the father was able to hop in the front seat of the truck with a child seat, and no discomfort to his hip, then jumps in the back of the truck. The younger McMichal stated he was trained in the Coast Guard, if he was trained so well, why he did not create distance with his shot gun, also he stated Aubery was not armed. Worked with a lot of Coast Guard in the area of Boarding and Interdiction, they are very good at what they do, you will not be put in the position without being properly trained. He should not bring the CG training into this, becuase if had to use Deadly Force, he was out of his element . This testomony is a bunch of BS. Also Military Officers and Sr Enlisted are being training to observe services members to weed out people like McMichal, that's why he only served 10 years, without being promoted.

@@ggraves1030 Travis is lying. If Ahmaud was by his father then Travis should have moved to make sure his dad was ok first. Ahmaud ran away so many times. Travis had no training. Ahmaud was a child and Travis couldn't handle him. Ahmaud was shot before he hit Travis. Travis did not feel emphathy for Ahmaud. Ahmaud was still alive and they touched and kicked him but did not help him. All this over going in a home that's wide open. I've done it many times. I'm about to do it tomorrow. The homeowner needs a heart or something transplant. He is very ill. We love and care about Ahmaud. We have black young men in our families.

Irony being rich that these guys will spend the rest of their lives confined to a place where Black people know who they are and what they did. Also, I'm anxious to know if father and son will be separated during their incarceration like the Melendez brothers were as further punishment.

He was blinded by color. Not by another person who never had a weapon at all. Especially since he got close to the guy so he would have a reason to use the weapon. This kind of people are dangerous since they twist your words or actions to use against you.

Both Travis and Gregory McMichael had firsthand knowledge that Arberry wanted for criminal activity in their neighborhood as Gregory had seen the young man's video posted online and Travis caught him personally just a short time before the shooting.... both of these men were professional former law enforcement being briefed by local law enforcement at the time and even recommended as First Responders by local law enforcement because of their proximity to the crime scene and Professional Training ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OnQOALyfmTA.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_rCRLIkBzww.html They knew Ahmaud Arberry was a wanted criminal for the same reason that Diego Sanchez and Mathew Albaneze knew, the online media source and the local sharing of crime scene video in the neighborhood I wonder why these men with Hispanic names aren't being considered raciests who "profiled" the black Criminal while the White Irish McMichaels are ... that's not Reverse Racism it's just plain old-fashioned racism and racial profiling against white Southern men😐👈

Around the 48 minute mark, the really good lies start. Travis, the overweight “Coast Guard hero” with central obesity is claiming at trial that he was just so scared of Ahmaud that’s why he sounds out of breath on the 911 call. My theory, out of shape Travis has to walk up his driveway or something and that’s why he’s short of breath.
