Wow! Looks and works really good and I don't hear the noise from the the factory produced gearbox and engine? Have you upgraded it to something else? Do you have somewhere the video with rebuilding the loco?
Hi Denis, thanks for watching the video. Unfortunately I don't have the Hymek anymore, I sold it over ten years ago. It still had the original bogies and motor, they had been hardly used when I bought the diesel second hand. I fitted a 12v AA rechargeable power pack in place of the original batteries. I purchased a speed controller which had a delay start built into it. You can see the controls sticking out of the top of the roof and the charger socket placed in the fuel tank. It would be a lot easier to do a conversion now because R/C and speed controls are so much smaller now. Hope this helps. Cheers Pete
