Sir, the first question could be solved in less than 30 seconds by assuming the length of AD with the help of Triplets, AB being 15 and Hypo. could only be the largest side of triangle ABD, 15 = 3x5 if we take triplet (3,4 and 5) 3x4 = 12 being AB, 9 being BD, DC turns out to be 25-9 = 16, forming triplet (3,4 and 5) again, with 4, thereafter, r= S-h. Alternate approach to dist b/w incenters vala sum in rectangle: For both triangles: R = mid pt of AC = 7.5 In triangle ABC: s = (9 + 12 + 15)/2 = 18 h = 15 So r = s - h = 3 d ^ 2 = R (R - 2r) = 7.5 * 1.5 So d = 1.5 * (5)^1/2 Likewise for triangle ADC: r = s - h = 3 d = 1.5 * (5)^1/2 the dist. b/w their incenters is 2*d = 3 * (5)^1/2

It's not some concrete theory but you want to analyze the numbers by simplifying them as much as possible - 7b clubbed with 7c and 2b clubbed with 2a worked because the coefficients formed a relation 2+7=9. In the last question , the ratio is 7/2. That does not simply imply that a-b would be 7. a-b can be 14, 21, 28.....values followed by b-c being 4, 12, 16 and so nd so forth respectively. so the ratio is always 7/2. plz clarify sir. @Rodha

For people asking in 2nd last question R-18,r-8,how right angle triangle assumed,yes it is not mentioned ,but we can apply logic R/r=2.25 >=2 condition for a right angle triangle,
@aditibhardwaj1310
@aditibhardwaj1310 Год назад
But I guess that the condition R/r >= 2 is true for all types of triangles except the equilateral one, and not only for right-angled. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

You can't assign a different value to a when you've already mentioned that a=12. Sorry but your last question is incorrect!

That's called scaling.he find the value of c corresponding to a=12 only..That's correct
@___DannyBoyka
@___DannyBoyka 4 года назад
The value of A is still 12....The ratio of the triplets when increased by same constant value will remain the same.... For ex: 3:4:5 is a triple, so is (17*3:17*4:17*5 )
