Ordered a 13.9 Feb 2020 order was completed today. Took forever, I’m excited to finally get my hands on it. To anyone thinking about ordering from triarc keep in mind the lead times on the website are misleading when I ordered it said a 20+ week lead time and it’s been exactly 18 months now.
I have the same barrel with SF MB. It only requires roughly .1 shimming to get to 16.1. SF brake is 2.6, WC/3P are 2.7. But the RC2 does not perform well with a WC.
@@aew0aew0 flash reduction from a muzzle device is irrelevant with a can because the can does that job…the WC blows a lot of gas backwards and will cause carbon lock…yes it will work, but even SF states the brake or SF3P are better suppressor hosts. The WC was designed for those without a can (ideally).
13.9" is where it's at! I went with a DeadAir flash hider, ambi controls, and TriCam Green Cerakote. I completed a total custom camo with a rattlecan job on everything not Cerakoted-Optic & mount (Sig Romeo5), light (Olight Valkyrie PL-PRO), flash hider (DeadAir), Magpul irons, rail scales, and mags (Gen3 Magpuls w/custom laser engraving). I, too, went with a Geissle trigger, I went with an Edgar Sherman Design sling (MultiCam Tropic). I named her "Jessi"- after Jessica Combs, the fastest woman that ever lived! She is one sweet rifle but she will NOT cycle steel, so I feed her USDA Choice Prime Rib- IMI's 77gr OTM rounds, although she was broken in on about 5k IMI 55gr's. All in all, she was worth the wait to add 'high speed, low drag' to my game.
Is the end of your handguard cut back at an angle towards the top rail? I thought it was flush but I just received a trilok handguard and it is definitely not, it’s like the front is kicked back a bit at the top
Loving my 13.9 after about 4K rounds. Running a LPVO and 35 degree offset dot. One thing I’m not happy with is the weird accuracy differentials with different ammo. 3 or 4 MOA with every 55gr FMJ I’ve tried. Sub-MOA with M855
@@Logan-mr4xg It’s a 1:7. I actually just did some accuracy testing yesterday and it is completely different now at 4k-ish rounds than it was when I first tested it with probably around 1k. Yesterday I got about 2 moa with 55gr FMJ, 62gr green tip and 77gr OTM
@@jrcumming997r6 interesting! Edit: do you think it had anything to do with break in? I've noticed minor changes on my carbines, but never anything like that. Also, yours is a triarc also? Or another brand barrel?
@@Logan-mr4xg I suppose it was breaking in. I’ve never had a rifle with more rounds on it than this though so I’m not experienced enough to say. It is a full Triarc rifle. I do like it a lot. And must say I’m happier now after the accuracy I saw yesterday
This is (s)pain, but I believe you are in fact correct. Will says that Trairc called him and told him that the Muzzle brake pinned and welded would not meet the requirements however, after looking into it I think you're right, and it would be 16".
As others have stated the surefire muzzle brake would have been legal to pin and weld on a 13.9. Not sure why Triarc would have told you different. Yeah I also did the complex math involved and you sir are correct haha. But they did in fact call and state that they would be unable to do it, so in hindsight it is kinda strange.

How do you like it? How does it shoot? Accuracy? Things you’d improve? You have very little to say about a gun you have 6k rounds though. And, that edit preset is really dark and made the vid very hard to see 👊🏻 Not trying to be a 🍆 those are all things I was thinking while watching. Your intro was pretty slick though so you def have some of the production stuff on the right track. Maybe outline the things you want to cover or right a script or two to help you think through the presentation 👊🏻

Imagine if Triarc put in the same effort making rifles as they do making You Tube videos. Really would have liked to buy one of your rifles but not waiting a year to get it. Quit trying to be like Radian ( another hard to get rifle ) and get your rifles out there and we gun fanatics will buy them, maybe even several of them if there’s the money in the bank for that.
Don’t buy. Looks like there’s bad news for Triarc, they might be going under. I waited over a year for my upper and they haven’t issued me a refund for parts I sent in and removed from the order. Nightmare.
I’ve honestly thought about that a few times recently. That could be the case however, I would think (hope) that they would be a bit more transparent. Sorry to hear that though man.
