You should consider upgrading to 12 or 14 ply all-steel radials when it’s time for new tires. Transeagle makes a nice tire, and it’s at an affordable price.
Not sure about Canada but here in the US the trailer can't be rated heavier than your truck it's rated for. Even if it's physically heavier than the truck can handle you still get a ticket.
Nice trailer... love galvanized. Tongue looks a little shallow, but you won't overload it on your pickup truck. I'd love it to haul equipment, but in my case: no CDL... gotta be content with my 14k. Enjoy that thing 👍👍
Thanks, I'm still trying to find the sweet spot for trailer level. When it's empty the front axle on the trailer is real light. If I forget to turn off the brakes to trailer or not light enough brakes you flat spot them and that sucks😢
I just got a gooseneck pj 21k triaxle. And its the best towing dump trailer i have ever had. Also it dumps a ton of weight. Im very happy with it so far
Nice trailer! I am looking at a similar 16ft tri axle trailer. Just wondering how it turns when loaded and empty? Does it seem to drag and put a lot of stress on the axles or no problem?
Honestly it doesn't tow much different than my old 7 ton ironbull did it was 16 foot also. I imagin it is going to wear tires quicker but I don't really turn that much. I live in the country so I wide turn it when I can.
@@doylemaintenance Thanks for the feedback! I just want the extra payload capacity and feel like the weight will be more evenly distributed across three axles under the frame/bed. Plus changing flat tires on a tandem dual axle is a bit of a pain. Happy hauling and thanks again!
You need to clean off the fender and if there’s any material laying on your trailer. You break a windshield you’ll be getting a $$Driving Award$$ by the RMCP.
Painfully slow, I would ask the dealer to take a look, use your wife's least favorite nail polish to mark the 3 chain links used most. Also you can buy Traveller Wireless Winch Remote Control for your up and down functions, p/u at TSC.
