I am from Norway, neigbor country of Sweden and I have been eating those chocolates since I was a kid. Daim is my favorite of those but they are all very good. Love these beautiful people.

We have Japp and Daim in Norway, too - and they are among many peoples favorites. I am happy to see that our favorite testers enjoyed the treats from the far north of the world! We have Daim bars in England - they used to be called Dime - I love them. Don't know what the other two bars are,but would like to try them.

Oh, yeah. Swiss chocolates ROCK. U.S. chocolates are not bad, but the quality of the cocoa beans is low and they're jacked up on sugar. That's not to dog Hershey's, it's actually decent. But, no way can it compare to some of the European chocolates. Not even close. As an aside, U.S. chocolates earned a terrible Rep in Europe at the end and following WWII. Meaning the U.S. military chocolate bars. The reality is they were intentionally made not to be a tasty treat. U.S. chocolate rations in WWI and for maybe the next ten years were meant as a food substitute. They had a great deal of oats in them. They were to be slowly chewed on for sustenance if you could not be fed or a regular basis. My Dad was a cook in WWII, so of course he had access to food. Even they (kitchen guys) still used the chocolate bars; but he said they would cut them in to chunks and throw them into oatmeal for chocolately oatmeal; and/or more or less due to the same to make a chocolate/coffee drink. But, yeah; they were not meant to be a tasty treat. The U.S. gave out tens of millions of the above military "Chocolate" bars in WWII and especially thereafter. Irrevocably giving U.S. chocolates a bad name. -Not that our regular chocolates don't half-way deserve the bad Rep. Shall we talk cheesecake or BBQ ?
