I love cinnamon toast! I've eaten it all my life. Toast, Butter, cinnamon, sprinkle of sugar on top. Love it with milk. This is something they can take home and introduce to their families, because they might already have everything. Great for kids to eat for breakfast before school. It is something kids can make for themselves for breakfast and teaches them to be self sufficient.

In America, we mix the cinnamon powder with sugar and sprinkle on top of bread with butter spread on it. This doesn’t look like there is any sugar. If not, try it again.

There was very little cinnamon to begin with all in the middle. They took their bites from the edges which is just bread. They really didn't have cinnamon toast. To truly make it, spread butter on the toast, add sugar and then cinnamon. Put them all over the toast. Yum!

Cinnamon rolls are particularly delicious! Likewise cinnamon raisin cookies. Apple fritters typically have cinnamon mixed in as well... Don't know why cinnamon goes so well with sweet things. But it does. Also may use it in mulled/hot apple cider, etc.

To make the cinnamon sugar at home, put a set amount of white sugar in a bottle, add an equal amount of ground cinnamon and put on a lid, shake it well. Try not to put a dirty spoon in the jar. Fill a shaker? Butter the toast first, so the cinnamon sticks to it. All the best.

Cinnamon Toast is such a simple snack. When we were kids, we used to make it often. It is not something that needs a parent watching over. Just toast, butter and a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. I love it and still make it sometimes when I want a little something sweet.

I toast the bread a bit darker and mix butter sugar and cinnamon toge ther and spread it on hot toast .. I like the toast crunchy .. I am in Canada

Toast bread, butter while hot, sprinkle on cinnamon, then sprinkle on sugar. The melted butter will meld with the cinnamon and sugar. though it'll tend to still have a slight crunch from the sugar. :) Yum! Super easy!

Very easy to make... Make some toasted bread, spread butter on it edge-to-edge when hot, so it melts in. Sprinkle on cinnamon edge-to-edge and sugar edge-to-edge. It all kinda' melts into the butter, and is delicious... Just a quick fun snack. ^_^

If she likes fried eggs with bread, she should try what we call a "hole in one" (also "toad in the hole" and other names). Basically, one uses a small glass to press out a hole in the middle of a slice of bread, then fry it in a pan with butter and crack an egg in the middle, letting it get under the bread slightly, so they fry together. Then once the egg starts to set up on the bottom, we carefully flip it over and cook the other side as well. Once both sides are set up and the bread is golden brown, we plate it and it's ready to eat. We'll also keep the circle of bread we cut out at the beginning and mop up any butter remaining in the pan by lightly frying that extra piece of bread. Yum!

I ate cinnamon toast dunked in hot cocoa.. That was a long time ago with one of my aunt's, uncle, and cousins. I'm getting to be an old fart now. Lol.
