@@granta3044 of course winter is relatively hard, but they have modern technology. Just classic traditions, my parents who lived there 40 years ago never spoke of hardships concerning basic amenities (also my father is a pretty mischievous guy and he told me some stories about how he would mess around with this one fat dude [evidence that they get fat sometimes]. However you're correct in the fact that obesity is way rarer there

They're really spot on though. I think we're a little too comfortable with processed packaged food. Since we never have to make anything ourselves anymore we've lost that reverence for it, yet they still have it. I'm a little jealous of them.

@@marizensoul8410 real homemade yougurt is different. And different breeds give different milks. When milk is pasteurizad, it becomes "dead". The good bacteria is killed, enzymes destroyed. Then is not good. But they have the good one, it really is different.

Awww, I really love what Tahir said when offering food to the camera man. My grandpa used to say the same thing. He'd tell me that sharing food with someone was the greatest expression of love because you don't need materialistic things to live but you need food. When someone really cares about you, they share their food.

Chaudhary makes me laugh. He is very conscious of the preservatives added to the foods. Can you ask them if any of them have refrigerators? Explain to them that in the big cities we live packed like sardines in a can. No room for a garden or animals to get fresh milk or eggs so we must use preservatives to keep food for a longer period of time. When I was growing up I was raised in a farm and would cross a couple of fields to our neighbors to buy fresh milk. I do miss it. Store bought milk isn't the same at all

fresh milk can only last two days. not enough time to transport and sell before stores would have to toss it in the garbage. you want fresh milk live near a farm or have a big backyard and a goat.

Yes, now people of villages also have refrigerators but not all of them have it and people of rural villages still don't have refrigerators but these people are from punjab province villages and punjabi villagers mostly have it.

Haha he meant that yogurt is the cure for hangover and by dog death he meant by the brand of whisky. In total conclusion. he is telling the cure of cough in dogs death whisky and after drinking whisky if you feel hangover you should try yogurt to cure it. @@abdullahayoob5809 oh my that is not good advice...if you ingest dairy while you are dehydrated you will produce a lot of snot and mucus. Water with a smal pinch of salt and small spoonful of sugar added is best if you have hang over... you need to restore ph of your blood (salt), rehydrate (water) and some electrolytes for energy (sugar)

I remember getting the first of several hangovers in my life (chug a glass of water between each drink, avoid sugar while drinking, and you probably won't get one). I thought "Maybe protein will help." That yogurt did not stay down. One of the few times I've vomited as well. Yeech. Curing hangovers is stupid. Simply prevent them by avoiding dehydration.

Chaudhary's concerns are right. He detected the preservatives element based on the shelf life information. Now that's wisdom. I avoid packaged food as much as possible.

Not necessarily true in dairy sometimes sealed airtight and refrigerated is all it take

Virtually no yogurt has preservatives in it. It is pasteurized and refridgerated. That is how it lasts for up to 2 weeks. Just like almost every other diary product product.

Actually pure yoghurt last long enough, as long as it's packaged right and sealed, you can even eat it a week or two after what the expiration date says because it's made from pasteurized milk and then they add pure cultures to it. Homemade yoghurt the one he's comparing it to is not as sterilized as the industrial made ones.

I hope I don’t take away the RU-vid viewers’ surprise factor by saying, English has been the official language in that region since 1850s. 😀😀😀 These “tribal people” are used to English. They may not speak the language but many of them can read and write in English. English is the language of central government, higher education is in English, police and military documents are mostly English. Court proceedings too are typically conducted in English. 😀😀😀😀 Peace.

I love Chaudry the most. I could watch him eat all day. He is careful to examine the food, takes his time tasting it, and has clear opinions about what he's eating. And when he's delighted, it shows! I would cook and bake for him just for his reactions.

I make it. It is easy and fun because it is an art. Sometimes it is better than other times. There are tutorials here about making yogurt. Straining it gives you the high protein Turkish style, (Called Greek Yogurt in USA). I am going to make some goat milk yogurt as soon as all my goats finish kidding. I never did that before.

Chaudhary - I do make yogurt at home and enjoy it. I also turn it into a kind of cheese and add herbs and garlic, and I definitely enjoy it. That said, I also enjoy the flavored varieties from some of the manufacturers you tried here. :-)

I just have to say how much a truly appreciated this video! I didnt think it would bless me as much as it did. I thought it would just be fun to watch, but i have been blessed to travel out of the country more times than most Americans and for months at a time. And in my travels i got to meet and enjoy people like this-full of wisdom, faith, love and just simple goodness that i feel is sadly diying in the USA. Please tell Tahir, we are all simple people and rip the foil. :) I always rip it. Oops! True that homemade yogurt is better! Kids love these yogurts and eat them in the morning, or take them to school for a snack!. The Chobani yogurts are made in Idaho USA not far from me. The man who made them is a immigrant to the USA and a wonderful man. He made a good business here in the USA making yogurts and his story is very beautiful.
