@@you2449 I think he is very used to the food from his village, the pakistani cuisine and with food that is not very processed, that is why he is very careful about what he eats, also, he is old so he does not want to damage his health :D That is how I view the situation. Plus, even when he does not like it, he always apologises to the people where the food originated from, he thanks god before the meals, he is very modest and even when he dislikes it, he is polite and apologises. But he doesn't have to like like what we like, and part of why I love these videos is their genuine, humble, honest attitude, that I cannot seem to see in western reaction videos.

@@blrfivvuvu Not just that--in his village, he has literally grown all of the food he eats, so he knows first-hand what's in the food. It's a level of knowledge about your food that we in the West rarely have. On the second React channel, they have several videos where they tour Mustafa's village. You should watch them if you haven't already.

@@ArgusStrav Yes, clean, unprocessed local food, made by him, no harmful chemicals :D I persoanally, always prefered simple food with vegetables from my country, I think that people that live in the country side are lucky because they get to grow their food, because it is hard to grow food in the apartment. The trouble is that at one time, he just didn't like anything. The food in his village was always better and people questioned why he was even on the panel. Let's face it; even if none of them liked any of the food, they would pretend that they did because otherwise none of us would bother watching lol.

Also, he's an elderly man who's spent his life living in the mountains, hard working, no electricity etc. Of course for him his village is his heaven and his food is the best, grown by him personally, fresh and wholesome. Is that not fathomable? For most of us here, wether he likes the food or not doesn't matter, his kind face and wise words make him loveable enough.

@@Kay35253 Nobody's expecting him to like _everything,_ or even really _anything._ But at one time there he wasn't even trying any of the food, he'd just pinch off a bit of bread and ignore everything that was inside it. The expectation is for him to actually _try_ the things that they're supposed to trying, whether he likes it after that is up to him. In this case, though, I expect he just didn't want to be rude or disrespectful to royalty, so pretended he liked it.

@@michaelheliotis5279 again, his prerogative. Most of us around here love him as a person and find him funny and wise, regardless of how much he tastes and if he likes it or not. At the end of the day the makers of this channel are financing their videos and don't have a problem with how much he tastes so ..

@@Kay35253 His prerogative is to not taste the food in a video that's about tasting food? That's like saying it's a comedian's prerogative to not tell jokes at a comedy show. Don't get me wrong, I love Mustafa and his wisdom too, but I don't watch videos about trying food to see people not trying food. At least, though, the producers have started to not bother putting him in videos with food that he's obviously not going to even touch. Like I said, he doesn't have to like anything that he tastes, but if he doesn't actually taste it, he just a glorified mascot and not an actual participant.

We call Uncle who are older than us in age to show them respect same as Western people. Not by there name.
