Try grilled cheese with tamato soup! Make the soup with milk instead of water and add a bit of black pepper. I use mayo instead of butter to coat the outside of bread but butter is fine too

I mix spicy mustard and mayonnaise in with the tuna, along with a sprinkle of black pepper and paprika and it truly does add to the taste

Good looking tuna sandwich. I hope they will get to try a toaster cheese & tuna sandwich sometime. A dill pickle goes well with that for some people.

You should try egg salad sandwiches, its also an American favorit.and our chicken salad sandwiches..

I like my tuna fish with chopped onion and sweet relish but my sister likes hers with chopped onion and dill relish, so we always have to make two separate tunafish bowls. 😝

M'yeah, if McDonald's Filet-o-Fish is what you're comparing it to, yeah, this is much better, IMO. Filet-o-Fish is pretty rubbish. I prefer Dairy Queen's fish sandwich. Considerably better, IMO. Though, it's not a terribly high bar, since McDo's Fliet-o-Fish is so rubish. But, yeah, I love a good tuna fish sandwich. Pretty much grew up on them. Super easy / quick to make. Just mix up some canned prepared tuna with mayonnaise, a little sweet pickle relish, and you're pretty much ready to go. Add a slice of cheese, some lettuce and tomato, and you're pretty much all set. Takes all of a couple minutes. A more advanced version would be the grilled tuna and cheese sandwich... Which is basically tuna salad and sliced cheese, in a sandwich, grilled in butter in a cast iron pan or whatnot. Very yummy! Even better with warm tomato soup... Very much simple American comfort food..
