As an army and as a fan oh Halsey, I remember how excited I was when she met BTS at the AMAs and I didn't expected that they would end up being friends! She was so sweet and genuine with them. I remember that like the next day of that award show she went to the hotel and gifted them churros and welcomed them to America and hope they find good people. Then BTS gave them some korean snacks and I guess they kept in touch since then bc when she was in korea like a year later there were clips of them together and after 3 years of friendship they end up having a natural collaboration. She traveled to Korea to film the MV and even challenged herself to learn the choreo. BTS and Halsey have gave each other a lot of gifts but one of the sweetest things was when she gave to all of them friendship bracelets. 💜 Halsey has been one of the artists along with Coldplay that have defended BTS the most in interviews and social media. She has 2 collabs with Yoongi (SUGA's Interlude that is in her album "Manic" and Lilith that is a song from her album "If I can't have love, i want power" but that is a different version for the Diablo game). I honestly hope she collabs with BTS or any of the members again in the future bc that would be amazing!! We also found out that she calls Yoongi twin when she posted in her IG story "Happy birthday twin" and pics of them them when they hanged out one day and one of those showed Yoongi hugging her baby 😭😭💜💜 Oh and she also appears in Yoongi's documentary but I'm not going to give spoilers haha I hope in the future you react to videos like "BTS & Halsey being best friends" or "BTS + Halsey = iconic"
I definitely recommend listening to them in order - I've been a fan of hers since 2015 and you'll see her growth as an artist and as a songwriter, while getting her full story! She's known for having really creative concepts and her latest album even had a full visual mini-film to go with it.
Even though I don't listen a lot of Halsey's music I admire her. I sometimes go back to listen to her Women's March speech in 2018 and it makes me cry, it's just 5 minutes long, I think you should watch it not for a reaction but just for you to understand some of her history and undesrtand where the lyrics of the songs are coming from. edit: 19:51 yes that will make me MAD because if I'm trying to explain something I want 100% your attention on the matter and trying to understand me, that "compliment" will just show me that even 1% of your mind is not listening

I got into BTS and Halsey almost at the same time back in 2015 when I was going through a lot of shit. Both the artists have such amazing discography and lyrics and they both address topics of mental health and struggles. You should check out her album Badlands. It is her debut album after she was scouted when a video of her singing a self composed song went viral (the song is also on the album. It is called Ghosts). Her lyricism (she writes her own music) is unmatched and she is an amazing person. Also I cannot for the life of me explain the feeling I felt when I first saw BTS with Halsey and then skip a couple years and they have a song together! Best thing to happen on god. But seriously, she is such an underappreciated artist. She has helped me really feel comfortable with my identity and she has also helped me process the shit I have gone through in life. You should definitely check out her songs more!
YES!!! I love them! Also in the song Nightmare the older woman at the end is Debbie Harry, lead singer of 70s Punk/Rock band Blondie. Seeing Nightmare live is truly an experience! Their music and tone is just beautiful and poetic.

each album is perfect, and deals with her personal story. Her latest album "If I can't have love, I want power" is one of the best albums i've ever heard and tells the story of her dealing with really personal stuff, such as miscarriages.
I love Halsey, and I'd highly recommend her latest full length album If I Can't Have Love I Want Power, it's a masterpiece in my opinion. That one also has the original version of Lilith that Halsey later remade with Yoongi!

Definitely worth going in order, I've been a fan since like 2014 2015 when just her first EP was out and I thought that was SO good I couldn't wait for her first full album to drop and when it did it was _fire_ but then she has kept dropping music that blew me away so maybe she just got better and better. Her fourth album "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power" from 2021 (hard title) was produced by the guys from Nine Inch Nails and I _love_ Nine Inch Nails so I really vibed with that as well. Also she did this "Vevo Lift" live performance of her song "Hold Me Down" from her first album that was arranged differently from the album version and I loved that one a lot, so that's my random recommendation for a song (or version of a song) that you otherwise would be likely to miss.
Annie Lenox "Sweet dreams" is being referenced I'm pretty sure in her lyrics "I'm no sweet dream but I'm a hell of a night" and Annie Lenox even makes a cameo "if that's you old" comment :p Halsey is also wearing a lot of Annie lennox's outfits from her Sweet dreams MV. Just a casual observation from an old lady :p

Honestly I love all of her albums!! The last one is in credibly good too and has more alternative tracks but it's also connected to her movie "If I can't have love, I want power" that has the same name of the album so idk. My personal favorite is between Manic and Badlands but I think you will really like Manic! Anyways, I'll be happy with any album your choose or if you want to go in order

Halsey??? omg she's my favorite artist!! ❤(besides Bangtan) She's an amazing artist and person. I've been a fan or her for like 9 years now. I just love her songs and her voice so much and how raw and poetic his lyrics can be 💖🔥 She's so talented in different areas too like acting, painting, writing poems, etc. She even has now her own makeup brand that is doing pretty good and I find it really authentic. it's to celebrate of all forms of self and encourage people to experiment and express themselves through makeup so her products are really fun with many colors as well and she's like really really involved in the process of the ingredients, design and stuff. I got into Halsey around 2014/2015 when she used to be seen with this other band I liked at the time (5 Seconds of Summer) so when she started collaborating with BTS it felt like my old favs and new favs were connecting. But I've always loved her music - I think she's incredibly talented.
halsey is one of the few people bts (as a group) collaborated with after having a pre-existing friendship with her already from when they met at the bbmas and she gave them some snacks and her support, she's always been so genuine and has stood up for bts through a lot of tough moments and called out media when they aren't treated fairly. love her

Been following Halsey since the beginning of her career and she's super talented. There's really few artists I follow through their whole career, some I only like a handful of songs, or just an album or two, but halsey is really good at what she does and every of her albums are bangers!

I love this woman and was super excited when BTS collaborated with her then to find out that it blossomed into a beautiful friendship between her and the group as well as a deeper musical connection between her and Suga 🫠 my heart melted because Halsey speaks to my bleeding heart and BTS has helped me with healing my wounded soul 💜
Halsey's up there with BTS for me. It's so wild to see that they've become such good friends and honestly it warms my heart because they're all such incredible people. She's such an amazing lyricist. I've been following her career since she started out, and she wasn't the greatest vocalist at the time, she even said it herself that she knew she wasn't great but she couldn't imagine anyone else singing her songs that are so personal to her. She's worked so hard and if you listen to her discography in order, it's so cool to hear how much she's improved vocally. She gives 110% in her performances and sounds incredible live. I've gotten to see her in concert three times and she truly never disappoints. All of her albums are concept albums, and she's so creative when it comes to telling her story in each one.
