Man, I got some stories. Dealt with heat issues (AC went out in summer in Texas) then had a freeze, inferior grain quality, pallets getting lost and having to literally tom clancy splinter cell my way into the freight depot to pick them up during a FLOOD, staffing issues for farmers markets and other adventures lol. That being said, I see so much potential for this business, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've been following your channel for a while and I'd be lost without your tutorials. Thanks for your work to help the small cultivator.

Trying to build something in California where I am is almost impossible, they change the rules on you and come up with new stipulations all the time. Colorado sounds like a walk in the park. Would love a building tour when it's all ready! Cheers

Heh, Massachusetts has more of the opposite problem, there's rules and regulation that may be several decades old, even over 100, and towns can be very conservative. My hometown didn't allow sale of beer or wine at any store or restaurant until the 90s. They kept Prohibition-era rules all that time. It's really never easy.

I had a strong suspicion that the reason you haven't uploaded any recent videos had to do with the move and the new facility during the peak market season. Glad you put things into perspective for those looking to start a mushroom farm. Being a newbie, I considered the possibility, being a business owner, I looked into all the aspects and requirements and realized that a mushroom farm would not be a fit for my lifestyle. Even doing it as a hobby and making tinctures, demands more time than I want to invest. Having your own farm, you really can't take much of any time off without having competent, skilled and educated staff or partners.

What sort of regulations is there for a mushroom farm? Besides construction/building codes.

It depends on where you are located but there are limits to the space being used, cleanliness and GMP, the outside advertising, outdoor activity, traffic, parking, county regulations etc. Even being zoned Ag there can be limits to your operation set by the community.
