THE master at work ! Always felt sorry for the old hammond. It took a lot of abuse from KE. RIP "Fingers". You will never be forgotten !
It’s been two years since I came upon your video & it is still the best footage of Keith Emerson that I have come across. It just shows his talent & his love for music. I have been listening since 1971, not about to stop. Thanks again, Will continue to have this clip at my fingertips.
Probably the most athletic band in rock history! Also IMHO no other band put so much into their live performances - if you've seen some concert footage of them after they leave the stage it looks like they just finished a marathon. Still heartbroken that Keith is gone - it didn't matter to me that his right hand became limited. I would have traveled hundreds of miles and paid big bucks just to hear a KE TED talk!
Great tribute! Keith doing what he loved doing - getting keyboards out in front instead of being "off to the side." Everyone looked forward to this part of the show.
This is the best tribute video I have seen ! I saw this show at the Royal Albert Hall , London in 1992, can you tell me where this was filmed, it is wonderful footage, I can tell you are a big fan, well done !
At 5:43 he is playing keyboards backwards, incredible talent, hard enough to play normally Toccata by Bach let alone the other way round right hand becomes bass and left hand treble i.e totally inverted, similar to playing a guitar upside down.
@@FURDOG1961 I just looked again and swiped through different places. Yeah... it’s a few beats per minute faster all the way through. I own a recording of this and was also at the Los Angeles concert. This is running fast. The pitch is off.
@@FURDOG1961 yes, but probably not purposely. My guess is it was transferred from one medium to another or from one zone to another and it happened then.
