Famu and bcu lost one of the brothers but he wasn't dead mbc still lives Morris brown college will make they return just as famu did even if it take five more years I love these three bands to death I hate to see morris brown college like this bring tears to my eyes

I am a Brownite! This song right here brings back all those exciting college emotions and then a sense of sadness because of what could have been...looking at those drum majors together (which were my class mates)make me proud

dang it sucks how this happened to such a great institution. i've always wanted to attend morris brown since my freshman year in high school and be apart of the band. its really unfortunate how it came down to this.

@TheDragonmaster18 Morris Brown is a private college, it is not that they are not funded by the state they are ineligible to receive federal financial aid money due to the lack of accreditation last time I checked they were able to take students who receive the HOPE scholarship and their enrollment was around 250 to 300. I pray that they get their accreditation back, it would be sad to lose such a great historic institution.

IHate the FACT as BLACKPEOPLE we dont support our own; We would rather go to White schools that Support our own legacies. It seems Like every other nationality supports there own heritage but us. I went to a TOTALLY different school...but I HATE to see as a HBCU ALUMN another one of our Brother HBCU's go.....It kills me to see that.....Even though I went to FAMU, I still cried....Peace.....Oh and um.....FAMU COULD touch ya'll....IJS.....LOL!!!

@Marksvillegeoteach actually the school is open still just not funded by the state thats all and they still have their band prigram. i found vids of them from 2009 season

sadly they had to do it because the school lost accreditation due to some biotch (former president) and others who decided to steal the money of the school, hire their friends with out terminal degrees and pay them as much or more than tenured prof. and collect fin. aid for students that didn't apply for it... many people hoped to run across them in the street! lol But it's cool, they will rebuild in a few years.

The diverse administration made poor decisions and MBC is still open.

The college lost its accreditation which means that the state doesnt give them funds for financial aid or scholarships. This happend because MBC was in debt with 23 million dollars. Also, the financial aid director spent most of their money on ineligible college cost. So the federal government revoked the college's accreditation. There's probably about 20 students in their band program. So if i were u, i wouldnt go there. There's high school bands that are better than them!

i do not like their alma song
