What a great man - so talented. He obviously lived life to the full and I can see he was proud of his family. You brought him joy. Live the happy memories when you are able.
Very nice Karen. Love that style of music. Your Dad and i are 1940 models, although i was born here. My background ancestry is of Scottish origins, McRae Clan with Black Watch links. I'll be 83, come May 30. He looked like a nice chap. God bless you Karen. Bob and Lina.
lovely tribute. I have no idea what your dad was like but the family pics clearly showed him to be a kind and loving man and I'm so glad that he managed to share some time with Reece. I feel sad for your loss and wish you all the best xxx
Ach lassie, what a beautiful heartfelt tribute to your Dad. I detected a Scottish accent. Such wonderful memories you have and will be able to share more with your own bairn when he’s a bit older. God bless, keep those memories close. xx
Great tribute, he was really living the muso life it looks like. One thing I noticed was how relaxed you looked in all the photos you were in with your Dad. As a Dad myself I would take that as a great accomplishment if I could take away some of my children's worries and concerns, even if for a small time.
Wonderful tribute to your wonderful father, he would have been very proud of what you have achieved with your RU-vid channel. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family ❤️
Any ensemble including a clarinet and a stand-up bass works for me. Sorry for your loss. When your parents are gone there's nothing between you and the void. Hang in there!
Sorry to hear of your loss. Even when you know that it's going to happen at some stage in the not too distant future, it doesn't make it any easier when it does happen. It is a lovely tribute video that you made. Thanks for sharing it with us. Take all the time you need to get over the loss of your Dad. ❤
So sorry for your loss Karen, and what a beautiful tribute you've made .It must have been fun to have your own" Benny Goodman"for a Dad. I sincerely wish you all the very best. I'm sure your Dad is looking down so proud of his daughter and Grandson Reeece making their homestead in the beautiful NZ countryside. You're a strong lady and with Hayden by your side you're sure to succeed in whatever you do. Lots of love from me in Canada .❤
I am so sorry for your loss. What a great musician your Dad was! This is a lovely tribute to him. Sending you love and support during this difficult time.
Sorry to hear about your dad. As the late Queen says, grief is the price you pay for love and it can hit you when you least expect it. Don't be afraid of it; you won't forget but it is possible to find peace. Playing a musical instrument is something you can do all your life and it had clearly bitten your dad. Thank you for a happy and nostalgic musical experience. Richard (iffy trumpeter, rookie caravanner and widower aged 78)
All of the elders in my family have died and I died eight years go and woke up with burn marks where the shocked me nine times. Yes you will miss and grieve him. You do have this lovely tribute.
So sorry for your loss Karen. It's devastating loosing parents as you think they will always be there. I lost my mother in 2007 and my father in 2015. My father and I were so close, it felt like my world was torn apart and a piece of me was gone forever. Even though our loved ones are gone, the one thing that can never be taken away, is the wonderful memories which I still cherish when I think of them. Such a lovely tribute to your dad. Stay strong. Big hug from the UK. xx
Look after yourself Karen, I lost my dad in 2010, after a battle with cancer. Still hurts. Still miss him daily. Still talk to him a lot about my caravanning exploits. Don’t let anyone tell you how to grieve or how to heal. It’s different for everyone. And happens at different rates. Time isn’t a healer, you just change and learn to cope with the fact they’re not here. Sending love.
Hello Karen. That was a lovely tribute; what a wonderful treasure trove of memories you have in those pictures. So sorry to hear of his passing. Take your time and take care. Best wishes.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll raise a glass for your dad here in Scotland. If there is something you would like to happen in Scotland to remember your dad, please let me know.

I'm so sorry for your loss Karen. I'm not surprised your appetite for creating videos has dried up for now - be gentle with yourself lass, you'll know when you're ready to dip your toe in the water again! What a beautiful tribute to your Dad - he seemed like such a lovely man who was full of life and whose eyes were smiling in every photo and he played the clarinet like a boss
Sorry for your loss Karen. He looked to be a great man. that dried up feeling you mentioned is called grief. Its a natural process and you need to take time to to just that - Process. Take care.

Oh Karen, I'm so very sorry for your loss. No matter what age, losing your Dad is heart-breaking. This is such a beautiful tribute to your very talented Dad. How lovely that he got to know Reece and see you happy. Take as much time as you need away from You Tube (even though I'll miss your videos). Take care x
I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad looked a lovely fellow and a very good musician. Treasure your memories of him that is something nothing can take from you. God Bless, Dave M.
It's difficult to write something, that has not already been said, but I can add, that you will recover from this, because you must recover from this. It's what your dear father would want from you. He wants his sweet daughter to smile again. He wants you to be happy again.
Thanks for showing this tribute of your dadKaren. He certainly had talent and can play that Clarinet. Maybe Reece has some wind instrument talent :) Nice to hear an upbeat tune for a tribute rather than a sad melancholic song. Take some time out for yourself and treasure the time you spent with him.
What a beautiful tribute to you dad, he certainly was a talented clarinet player, sometimes a tribute just doesn’t seem enough when your doing it but from experience it does help the grieving process. All the best Karen and Family from the UK x
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing, such a love tribute. It doesn't matter how old they are when you lose a parent, it breaks a bit of your heart. Take care, it will take you time to adjust, as I know you know.
Wow so awesome what a life, love the photo where both wearing the wings. I'm so sad though to hear of his passing understand what like to loose a dad no matter what age. I hope you see your generation pass through the next one with Reece and it bring good memories and joy ❤

Beautiful tribute, and a great man, that generation is hard to beat, do have some photos of your mum? Grandparents? Did you learn music? Reece looks like him
Sorry for your loss. What a great man. Beautiful tribute for your Dad. He had a great and positive life, that obviously affected a lot of people in a positive way. With his great musical skills and charm. You have his positive outlook also.
