I have a problem with diffuse thinning, which I'm treating with dutasteride and oral minoxidil, but I think surgery will be necessary. I sent pictures of my hair to a clinic, and they said I will need 1,000 grafts. The two surgical options are 1.) FUT or 2.) FUE with the ARTAS robot. I know that some experts dislike the use of robots in surgery. If the robot is a bad choice, then should I choose the FUT instead?

Some doctors talked about adding tretinoin to minoxidil to convert it into minoxidil sulfate. They said there was a study showing that treating the hair loss with tretinoin and minoxidil resulting a significant hair growth after 3 weeks of treatment. I know that tretinoin is not a hair loss(baldness) treatment approved by the FDA but should we consider it? and how to apply it if we wanna test it for few months?

Hello in the last month I've lost a little over half my hair. I've had my thyroid checked and everything came out normal. I used to have very thick shiny heavy hair and now it's just shiny. Also experiencing fatigue, body aches, constant migraines, bumps the size of a dime on my head closely grouped together and eat infection. Any thoughts on what it could be? My doctor just said it could be mental issue.

In one of your videos you said that hair shed when you start applying Minoxidil (topical) foam/liquid because for a stronger/thicker hair to grow it throws the thinner/weaker hair. Hello, I’ve began taking 1.25mg finasteride every other day in the form of a 5mg tablet cut in 4. I’ve noticed that the quartered tablet dissolves in water very quickly. Hey could anyone tell me if i have seborrheic dermatitis, my gp just concluded it very quickly through email without examining my scalp. So currently, i have a couple of red spots on my scalp, which arent bumpy or anything more like just a spot. My scalp is extremely itchy. I'm 17 years old and I started taking finasteride for baldness, my hair wasn't falling out exaggeratedly but the entries in the front were big and I had some fine hairs, I started taking finasteride 1 month ago but it started to fall out a lot, but I saw on the internet that it's normal in the first 3 months there is a "shedding" in the first few months is this really normal?? Hey guys, you often said that taking 1mg of Finasteride a day might actually be more than you need for a lot of men. This makes sense to me so I’m thinking of not taking the normal dose.. however I wanna know if it’s smarter to start with a rather high dose and then tune it down to the point where it still works or if it’s smarter to start with a little dose and increase it afterwards if it’s not enough
