The most important - socialization from day one, grooming from day 1 - comb, nails with treats and happy voice. A lot of BRT later give no chances to trim nails, groom them, etc. of course, I will recommend you to assign puppy to school 3-4 times a week if possible as at least 3-4 hours a week you will work under certified instructor and follow routine training at least for 2-3 years ❤️
@@blackrussianterrierincanad2317 I actually am a groomer that'll be fully groomed once a week including bath, blow dry, line brushing and setting the pattern at my place of work. And I checked with the breeder to make sure they're exposed to the high velocity, dremel, clippers and other such tools. I'm helping with evaluating the litter and will be attending confirmation classes with the intention of titling as much as possible. Our local club is consistent with classes on scent work, barn hunt and my chosen trainer is helping with evaluating the pup's potential for bitework. So much to look forward to.
@@blackrussianterrierincanad2317 I honestly mostly use to poodles. Who I tend to do a full groom once a week with. So a fully bearded breed will be an interesting challenge. I'm looking forward to mastering the clip. I mostly just work with poorly-bred doodles nowadays.
