TRICK OR TREAT STUDIOS DR LOOMIS HALLOWEEN DONALD PLEASANCE 1/6 scale figure unboxing and review 

I used to have the 1978 Myers and I think that only came with an extra hand and knife. The likeness on this figure is great. The overcoat does look a bit bright but maybe it's because Loomis is mostly seen in the dark. I'll have to refer to a daylight movie shot to compare. Tailoring does look more like a Mego

Beautiful looking headsculpt, but the soft goods look fairly generic 🤷 Depending upon your level of interest in the figure, a few key improvements in the suit and some minor tailoring tweaks could definitely bring this piece up to snuff 🎉 Personally, I enjoy adding little touches here and there to customize figures to my liking, but I agree that it shouldn't be necessary, especially when you are purchasing a finished product at retail. I agree, there is a hell of a good figure here if you are inclined to undertake a degree of customising. The solid building block of course is that top notch headsculpt , that ‘s Donald Pleasence all day long. Would be interested to see the result of any upgrades you care to make, Other than the shirt collar which you can fuss with as mentioned any problems with the suit would be mitigated by a weathered , colour stained rain coat?. A really good figure to have in the collection, I wonder, perhaps if you know has anyone ever done a Laurie Strode figure?. This looks like it'd benefit greatly with some water treatment to make it all sit a bit better. A tiny amount of brown or gray dye in some water might make the raincoat serviceable too. But yeah, good set for the pricepoint, won't need to spend much money or time to get it all up to scratch I think.

Looks pretty decent. Thanks for the review. Decided to bite the bullet and buy him. Nobody else is gonna make a Loomis figure so fair shout to Trick or Treat. I wish they'd do Laura but thats wishful thinking.

He looks great mine arrived other day not to sure If its just mine but on mine his face seems bit dark

I don’t understand why they got the color of the coat so wrong. That’s like the easiest thing to get right lol it’s a shame bc I was planning on getting it but I don’t want to have to buy another coat considering the figure is already overpriced

I think TOTs is ripping people off at $200 a figure. They have made zero improvements in quality and craftsmanship since the 78 Myers. The softgoods are generic, and "accessories" are a complete joke, and almost criminal. The sculpts are the only shining part of all of these releases. Even still, I ended up buying one, but got it for well below retail, which I will never pay for a TOTs again. I am excited to get him because the sculpt is that good. I will dye the coat, and / or paint it. Replace the shirt, and give it an overall futzing, and I think it will ultimately be an amazing piece. To add, the clamshell package and box are a joke too. Even unlicensed figures that are crap quality give us foam packaging and good quality shoebox style, or a flap style front
