Ps: I see you too have gotten that glitch with Hubert where he kind of like follows you, but his movements are tweaked out and he isn't actually considered a living teammate, as seen in the escape cutaway. How'd it happen for you? For me, it happened after i encountered him in a hallway. There was a rat trap between us, and I wanted to slap it out of the way, but it hit Hubert and his, "ow," dialogue overrided the join dialogue that'd normally happen.
Monster potion is only permanent if you drink two(EDIT: Or I think you turn into a broom actually..), you can also chug a healing potion (light blue) after he turns you into a monster to turn back or get killed by the redhead when you have a rebirth potion. I can't remember how this bug happened but it happened recently with a peasant, he had the animation of holding something with two hands, asked if he could go through a door I said yes and it froze the game! Corpses also randomly drop (Evelius, companions) when going through new doors too.
