Some folks use masago, others use paprika...but since some people have allergies to both, I purposely kept the recipe to the basic ingredients. If you want, you may also want to consider using soy sauce, mirin and a touch of rice vinegar. Also, Kewpie (Japanese mayo) is not used for Spicy Mayo in the USA...and Spicy Mayo isn't even a suitable sushi item in Japan. Kewpie is not a common component.
