nice, practical and looks cool. I got the blue ones becuase they were onsale for the new cruiser skateboard I brought. Very informative video. I suppose you can turn off the lights if you want to by loosening the wheels.
I got mine ! I wish I hadn't sold my Disco Balls. I got the OJ II 92's and the Bullet 66 95a. Us old schoolers love these Originals and we'll absolutely buy them in all different colors and some softer duros ! Black/red/yellow/neon green/(orange 90a/92a) Bullets would be bliss 😎🤑 ROAD WEAPONS ⚔
What trucks and riser pads do you recommend for a cruiser board with these wheels that will be stable at high speeds going down hills? Which trucks and risers are featured in this video?
I just picked a set of these wheels today while visiting Santa Cruz shopping for the Winkowski Creature Collab along with the glow in the dark Creature rails. Sounds like as long as I avoid getting my wheels wet the magnets will keep the wheels lit for a long time to come.
Niiice 👍 I bought some of the blue ones recently an was wondering if I should do some tricks on them haha I just been Cruisin them at night in my neighborhood I posted a vid of me riding them on my channel
Ron bro, if you've got any 10x31.6 winkowski double drills you'd be saving me I'm about to hit fdr then Jamestown, new yorks opening n my 10.2x32 dressen everslick reissues on its last legs...Eric's decks the only thing I can ride its the only Cruz missle 2 that's 10 inches wide...I'm about 2 fall back in the no progress zone without it...
No plans as of yet. Seems like a lot of folks asking for harder ones. I'll pass the request along to the folks in charge of Slime Balls. Thanks for the feedback! - Ron
They look like normal clear cruiser wheels but you can see the core inside. If it's in the shade or not too bright you can still see how they light up. If's really bright and sunny you don't see the lights much. Still look cool in the day for sure.
Not any more so than a regular cruiser wheel of it's size. The lights and little spacer don't add much weight at all. But yeah, a 60mm 78a wheel is quite a bit heavier than say a skinny 53mm park wheel. Also, it seems like cruiser wheels tend to look better on wider, reissue shapes with bigger trucks so when you start putting those all together you see why my flip tricks didn't exactly fly off the ground.
